How I Ended Up at the Bunny Ranch...and Why I’m Staying

I just arrived at the World Famous Moonlight Bunny Ranch on a cold, rainy night right around Thanksgiving with little more than a simplistic and playful  appreciation for the glamour of anything sprightly enough to encourage a brand of hot pink glittery logos and fuzzy little bunnies “thumping.”  I honestly didn’t know what to expect out of my acceptance into the ranks of the beautiful and glamorous girls that cover the website with promissory glances of pleasure and companionship, glossy legs dangling over the red velour parlor seats reminiscent of the Old Hollywood lifestyle I so adore, but in my personal and professional life I had quite literally come to the, “end of my road.”

For just over five years now I have worked all over the world as a professional model, actress and musician. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from an Honors College soon to be accredited as an Ivy League University, professional training as an actress and spokesmodel from a top acting school  and a resume that has earned me incredible work in several facets the Entertainment Industry.  I was discovered as a model my first week in NYC and since then I have traveled throughout Asia and Europe and have toured the US with modeling contracts, ad campaigns, fashion brands, hosting events and playing with and hanging with some of the greatest rock bands alive. The combination of sporadic paychecks, unreliable schedules and perhaps misplaced loyalties all led me to this exact moment in time where beyond the experience and deep rooted love for my career I was desperate, broke and alone.

After the last leg of the tour I was most recently on, I sat curled up in an old vehicle stranded and alone on a highway in Nebraska,halfway through the country on my way from Nashville to Los Angeles. I had no dates booked, no upcoming work and no means of providing a paycheck at any near point in the future. I took inventory of my life, my goals and my options. The entertainment industry is not without its own trade of sexual currency and favors and although this was not a path I had yet taken, I have watched careers of acquaintances take off by leaps and bounds after a few “intimate meetings” with Directors, Producers or Record Label Executives. It took a very real dose of moral courage to take the leap of faith and set new goals for myself where financial security, safety and the pursuit of a more stable lifestyle outpace any fear or reservation I may have had.

In reflection, I acknowledge that although on different terms, I have sold  my body at every Fashion Show I have walked in, at every Photoshoot and at every Trade-Show. I sell bits and pieces of my unique life story and actual elements of my soul in every song I write, perform and share. I sell myself through and through as an entertainer and the distinction to become a -pure bred Sex Worker – seemed to be chemically transforming into a steamy new goal and dream of mine boiling up in the misty haze of the “grey areas” we love to describe when discovering how non-linear so much of life truly is.

Getting Here

Arriving here was simple. After I received confirmation from The Bunny Ranch’s HR Team I returned my vehicle to Nashville, packed up my minimal possessions in a storage locker and boarded my flight to Reno. Like many of the girls here I have no relationship with my family. Although I enjoyed my friends and schooling I was already pursuing college credits in high school and I left home and became entirely independent at only 16. I have had no relationship with my parents since then and they have never been interested in changing that. Although that brings some sadness given my loving and sensitive nature, it has left me a free-bird paving my own way through life as I fulfill my goals and overcoming obstacles on my own terms. As I am getting to know the collective group of incredible folks here – I see the familial bonds that have formed here at The Bunny Ranch. I hear over and over again that to many here, this is what they consider their real family. Personally I am very grateful for that and equally appreciative of having a  roof over my head, a beautiful bedroom, hot meals, a 24/7 fitness center, horses right out my window and a team of people and clients that have made this transition so positive for me. (This beats being homeless.)

First Impression – Meeting Dennis Hof

I’ve never met a Pimp or a Madame before. As I unpacked my suitcase I heard from the girls that Dennis likes to meet each of his workers personally. I didn’t know what he would be like. I wondered if I was sexy enough for the caliber of females that they select. My second night here I spent brushing out and trying on a long wig I had picked up concerned over concealing and altering my appearance and identity as I began my new life under my new moniker, Anita Bianchi. I sat on my bed looking at myself in the mirror and grabbed my bass. Since I couldn’t really bring an amp and other equipment I have a headphone amp and other little wired electronics that I hook up and started playing my music. After playing for a bit they called my room and told me that Dennis was in the parlor and would like to meet me. They told me to be there immediately. I remember being all tangled up in the wires … like really tangled up … no makeup and baggy clothes. When I rushed into the parlor to meet  Dennis I had this totally frazzled wig that had gotten knocked around by my headphones and was falling down my face! It was a funny experience for me and needless to say … no wig from that point on. I was so nervous and embarrassed and surrounded by a flock of other girls I don’t really think he noticed.

Dennis was probably exactly as you would expect him to be; surrounded by beautiful women rubbing his shoulders, massaging him and cooing “Daddy.” He was very nice to everyone and had an energy that lit up the room. I was introduced to both himself and the other girls and in the time that has transpired since those first couple awkward nights I have gained the utmost respect for him as well as  Madame Suzette and all that they do to ensure that we are taken care of and successful in our time here. Dennis is a wonderful person from what I have gotten to know and I appreciate what he does for all of us.

From Lineups to My First Experience

Lineups are just like modeling castings – the only difference is you aren’t allowed to talk if a potential client speaks to you while the lineup is still forming. Afterwards, if you are chosen you take the customer on a tour of the ranch so they can get acclimated to the environment here and learn what their options are. Since we are independent contractors we negotiate the rate, type of sex party and time with a client in our rooms. I am brand new I am still growing as I look forward to going out on dates with clients and I would love to book overnight trips where I can intimately spend time with a client and maybe party, ski, shop, snuggle and converse in places like Tahoe and Vegas. Personally, I love older men and I love great conversation as much as I love wrapping my long legs around a date and giving affection.

My first sex party experience was really great! Before coming here I had not had sex for almost a year and a half since I had been on tour with a band and never was intimate while on the road with them. Touring is a lot of work and I was the only girl so I didn’t have any fun and guess what … sex and intimacy is a lot of FUN! I expected to be more nervous the first time I had sex for money, but the atmosphere here feels so safe and cozy, it didn’t take me and my client long to get comfortable with each other as things heated up.

Since my first party I have picked up some sexy toys and movies from our souvenir shop, did a sexy makeover to blonde hair and seductive lingerie and, although I don’t kiss and tell, I can say that all my experiences with my customers have been wonderful. Thank you to my new clients!

I’m happy to be here at the Bunny Ranch and I am excited for 2017. Of course I miss my music, modeling and acting, and the world outside of the gates here, but I am already so grateful for the experience I have had so far and I am excited to meet new clients and save money for my future goals. I hope I meet some special people in 2017 and get to travel on outdates and offer the best of me to you!
