Hi Jenny - thanks for sharing your experience. So do you have coins both on the floor and on the door frame? If yes, what's the reason for keeping coins on the door frame?
I've heard "splitting the pole" - example: letting go of your client's hand so you and your client walk on either side of the stripper pole on tour - is bad luck.
Hi Violet - thank you for sharing ranch superstition #6: splitting the pole! FYI - I am numbering these now to keep track of each unique ranch superstition shared by all on this thread.
One superstition that I never bought into was that it was bad luck for girls to give things away to each other... it had to be some kind of exchange because "nothing is free". I am a very giving person and am not going to barter over silly things; if you need a nail file and I have two, just take one. Don't worry about needing to find something to trade me for it.
I was visiting what seems to be my second home now (LRN) and noticed shoes lined up on a low ledge going down the hallway - any thoughts on why they are there?
Hi Roxy - thank you for sharing ranch superstition #7: exchange of things vs. giving away! FYI - I am numbering these to keep track of each unique ranch superstition shared on this thread.
Everyone knows the "Change on the floor, brings money in the door!" There is loose change everywhere on the floor and that is where it stays, right where it drops Many girls also have clients drop change by there doors or even on their floors, I know... I do it! Oh... and peeing on the fence to bring more clients into the ranch! The girls that is, lol.
Thank you to the ladies who have shared the following ranch superstitions: Money left of the floor means money in the door Ladies peeing on the ranch gate to help attract business No red roses Keeping the first bill you earned under your pillow as a way to draw in more money Keep all your condom boxes open and by your bedside Splitting the pole - bad luck to have a lady let go of client's hand when walking on either side of the stripper pole on tour Exchanging/trading things since nothing is free So is that considered the complete list for ranch superstitions or are there more? Please continue to share your ranch superstition experiences!
Here's a picture of ranch superstition #1 (money left on the floor). Thanks @KikiLover for tweeting this!
Here's a list of "Interesting Ranch Superstitions" (Believe it or Not): When you receive a $100 bill for a party, burn all four corners of it; if you burn the corners of every $100 bill every gentleman gives you, you will receive more of them. If he gives you a $50 bill, tear off one small corner of it and deposit it in a green candle, or throw it on your floor. Money on the floor is money in the door; if a gentleman drops change on your floor, kick it into the back corner for luck. If you break luck (get first customer) with the house minimum, have someone draw a small green dollar sign ($) on your ass. You can burn p——hairs in your green candle for luck, also. Don’t stand next to a lady in the lineup with the same color on as you. Crickets in a house are good luck. A spider in your room is also good luck. (I don’t go with this one, if there’s a spider in my room—I want it out of there!) Fresh cut roses in a house are bad luck. If you find a dime on the floor, step on it and give it to a girlfriend for good luck. $2 bills are good. Tack them on your wall. No shoes on the bed. No shoes above floor level. Don’t change out of the outfit you break luck in. Wear it throughout your shift. Cigar butts are bad luck in a brothel—not whole unsmoked stogies. After getting the butt out of the ashtray (who said hooking was glamorous?) take it around and have everybody touch it for luck, then take it outside. With your back to the fence, throw the cigar butt over your left shoulder and over the fence and walk away.
I don't believe Red Roses can ever be a bad thing. I'm cool with peeing on the perimeter of the brothel to attract customers (they'll probably find out it has something to do with musk and pheromones- LOL) ... The one thing I do believe is that it's bad luck to "walk money out of the door". Anytime someone comes to a brothel for a good time - they should get something good back from that effort. If they don't - I believe Karma kicks in. Sometimes - when someone comes in who is simply expecting way too much for way too little it is hard to avoid - but it still makes me nervous when anyone steps away unsatisfied.
That was around my first tour here at the KitKatRanch, I noticed there was change on most corners in the house .. I tried picking it up and some girl was like “noooo” scared me a bit haha. She said it was for good luck. I’ve heard about this superstition back in the country I was born in(Morocco) but I didn’t think people still believed in that kind of thing..haha. It’s adorable.. does it work? ...never know.
So I guess one of the superstitions at me or many other girls have is if you turn down the first party of the day, it might be bad luck! Sent from my VS425PP using Tapatalk
Thanks for sharing @cumishaamado! That's a lot of additional ranch superstitions I didn't know about. Very interesting.
I guess for me the superstitions are far and few in between because I like to think I have quite good luck! Sent from my VS425PP using Tapatalk
I guess it's a version of the "money on the floor" belief, but many years ago I read somewhere that leaving money in the corner(s) of a lady's bedroom would bring her good luck. The first time I followed through on this (using casino chips instead of coins,) my party partner became slightly distracted by my token gifts and I had to refocus her mind by explaining my actions mid-thrust/embrace/etc. I'm sure it was quite a sight.
I have collected random trinkets over the years which I have turned into lucky talismans. Some have moved on and found new owners who needed their luck more than I did, some I have kept most of my life.
A story told to me by one of my big sisters... she was new and HER big sister was retiring. An Asian lady with an amazing sense of humor. She started tearing the sexy clothes out of her drawers and throwing them at her yelling, "You take! You take! I'm a ho no mo!" "I'm a ho no mo!" From that, my big sister started a tradition of "Clothes for Hos" where once a month or so we all clean out our closets and drawers of the things we are done with, or that don't look right on us, or that we can let go - and do a swap. What isn't taken right away goes on a clothes rack as free clothes for new girls. More tradition than superstition but we do this at Love Ranch Vegas.
Thanks @CoronusPete for sharing - I'll have to keep an eye out for casino chips on ranch bedroom floors.
