So last night I was craving popcorn and I thought who was the first person to bring popcorn to the movies and who decided that would be the main snack at the movies? It could have been any food but someone came up with popcorn.
Wow I looked it up and Popcorn was banned from theaters because the theaters were really nice with expenive carpets after the depression they added sound to movies and the theater owners saw a way to make profits...so much for the nice carpets! Louis Ruckheim created Cracker Jacks back in the 1890s which was sold at a lot of events so maybe he was the first person. Without popcorn we might have had to eat Spam at the movies.lol
