Hi all! I wanted to share positive things that have come out of this unfortunate situation and would love to hear what you've noticed as well. Positives: 1. Reviving my love of cooking healthy dishes which is helping me feel better 2. Cleaned the entire house (including a carpet wash)! Phew! 3. Organized the closet 4. Bags of items ready to donate when the donation centers reopen! 4. Tackling the books I ordered last year 5. Using up items in the pantry before they expire 6. Sewing! Broke out the sewing machine and trying my hand at smalkl projects 7. Yoga and other at home workouts 8. Reminding myself to smile more. Less resting b face (aka RBF) would be nice to go back into the world with Overall, I'm making the time to do things to nourish my soul which I pushed off because I was so busy being caught up in life. It's important we remind ourselves how lucky we are to be in good health, have a roof over our heads, food to eat and healthy friends and family. What chores have you crossed off your list? What loves have you re-sparked or learned you love doing? xoxo, Alexa Wu
I’ve actually started working out from home either shortly after I wake up, or during my lunch break. Next thing on my to do list is to get back to learning another language.
Getting to do all the things that I swore I never had time for! Distraction free living is quite a change!
Hard Times is when a man has been on the job 30 years they give him a watch kick him in the butt and they tell him a computer took your place Daddy, That's Hard Times!lol
That is true but I wrote that to make glip laugh. There was a wrestler named Dusty Rhodes who is known for something called Hard Times.
Thankfully I'm still working so I have the want to get creative with art and music but I don't have the energy.
What he has learned: Love my parents and appreciate spending time with them. They're older and I don't get too close, call them daily. I miss being with them. Built a connection with my brother who I hadn't spoken with in 4 years. Hoping to meet 4 nieces & nephews I've never met Catching up on reading Learned I love running as much as I love Crossfit.. and it doesn't cause callouses on the hands Learned to enjoy alone time, although I still dearly miss people. She told me... I don't know, LOL
We often are so busy living our lives, we forget to slow down. It's a great time to reconnect with our loved ones What are you reading? A runner?! Take my legs too please and work off the calories for me . Was this list for the Mrs or from the Mr?

I'm there with you. Eating A LOT more at home recently. Mmm what I wouldn't do for a good Italian meal. Do you have any recipes? Easier the better. I'll go look for fresh pasta noodles today and make a simple cherry tomato garlic sauce with some spinach tossed in. That will be a lovely dinner.
Hearing this makes me extremely thankful that I started my transformation in February and not in March. I can only imagine the shape I'd be in now.....
Learning it's okay to slow down and stop working. Need to recharge the body and the mind.Have been doing this for 2 days and can already feel positive changes.
Try using Duolingo! It has heaps of languages on there - including latin (also learning latin is confusing! )
I’m using Mondly. I was able to get a lifetime subscription for all 36 languages that the my have for less than $100. So once I’m comfortable with Japanese, I need to find a new language to learn, lol.
What language are you thinking about learning? Lets learn Korean together then we can watch Korean dramas! Thanks to staying at home, the love for these have been renewed. Not sure if I should face palm or be happy
