I learned today that I will arrive in Reno in time for the rib contest! Prior to that, I thought I would just miss it.

If you can, come in December. There is the monster waves on the north shore to see, and if you're lucky, they might run the Eddie Aikau surf meet. It's for pros only, because the waves are 20 feet high (minimum wave height to run the contest) at least. And no snow! You can send pictures back to the ranch of you on the beach, with blue ocean and blue sky, while it's all white up there.
That would be kind fun to get freaky in the car while the car is going through the wash and no one could see since the bubbles would be everywhere!!!! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
It's nuts! That's why it's pros only. And it also creates havoc on the north shore beach front properties. As you can imagine, those huge waves just destroy the shoreline.
But the timing has to be right...you don't want to be in the middle of it and then...the car is rinsed and next thing you know you're out of the car wash...
