My favorite color is probably iridescent blue, the color of a sky in the tropics after a rainstorm when the sun comes up. Not only do I love the color, but I find the Rayleigh quantum scattering effect that creates that blue so incredibly interesting; in tropic waters, it's that same color that gives the waters of places like the Bahamas such a rich blue. Blues, greens, and purples are also really interesting to me because they can cancel out other colors. Yellow, for example, can be canceled out to white with purple. One of the interesting things I love about the visible spectrum is it hints at how much more there is on the electromagnetic spectrum, but just like sound waves, at high speeds light waves can have their wavelengths changed by relative movement. Red-shift or Blue-shift can actually tell astronomers and astrophysicists if a celestial object is traveling away or toward us, it's even why we're fairly sure the universe is expanding. After you post your answers you can send me a DM and I can tell you the relational psychology behind your color choice. Sometimes the colors we gravitate to can give us really cool insights into the human brain.
Purple, because it’s so rare in nature, I love every single shade of it, and it signifies creativity, thoughtfulness, and intuition.
Baby Pink is my favorite, if you know me you know I have pink EVERYTHING! -It looks great on my skin -It’s feminine and reminds me of one of my favorite movies which is, “ Mean Girls.” -I’m a Black Barbie so you know our color is pink
White, because white light contains every color. It's the color of a fresh sheet of paper, full of possibilities. It's the color of mashed potatoes, the ultimate comfort food
