What a long, strange trip it's been. Apologies in advance for the length of this post. There are a lot of things I need to cover and hopefully a lot of experiences that will help others in the same position that I was in. I feel this is more an advice thread than an actual report, but I am happy to move it to RLRR if the mods ask. I will save more in-depth details of my parties for separate review threads. Links to those threads are at the bottom of this post. Eight days ago, I was an older virgin. I won't say how old, but I will say that OSU Mike's advice thread was apropos to me. This summer, I resolved that I would lose my virginity before my next birthday. I had been viewing the boards off and on for some time, but in July I created an account and began earnestly researching and planning. The planning itself was not without setbacks. Early on I decided on one particular girl to whom I felt I wanted to lose my virginity. During our initial conversations, though, she stopped responding to me. (I later found out she had stopped working at the BunnyRanch). I had become too attached to the idea of losing my v-card to her, and I held out for way too long for a response. When I finally found out she would no longer be available, I was very disappointed. This led to my first major lesson: 1. Don't be too hung up on one particular girl. Girls come and go at the ranches on a regular basis. Even seasoned veterans may have something come up in their personal lives, find new opportunities, or simply decide their time at the ranches is complete. It is important to remember that whatever else this may be, it is still a job, and has to be viewed as such. There's nothing wrong with having a favorite lady, but you must keep in mind that it is her prerogative to leave at any time. If you decide to embark on this adventure, begin by starting conversations with several potential ladies at once. Think of it as though you are interviewing candidates for a job. If your first choice suddenly becomes unavailable, you will have many other options with ladies who are just as wonderful. In any case, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because then I put myself in contact with the lovely Jade Capri. Jade contacted me within minutes of my initial email and we had a great conversation about my situation, what I could expect at the ranches, and some thoughts about our first date. We quickly settled on a time and date to meet. Over the next couple of weeks, we stayed in close contact, which was a great benefit. At the same time, I planned out the rest of my week. There were other girls I knew I wanted to see, or at least talk to, based on their profiles, posts, and pictures on the board. Everyone I spoke to was so welcoming and understanding in their responses. I knew I was going to enjoy meeting each and every one. Was I nervous for my first time? Of course I was, who wouldn't be? I thought my heart was going to stop when my plane took off for Reno. I had decided to come into Carson City the day before to give myself time to relax and get used to the area (note that Mike also recommends this). This worked out well, I was able to check into the hotel and get my affairs in order with plenty of time to spare. 2. Give yourself time to decompress. Traveling is stressful enough, don't try to combine it on the same day as losing your virginity. If you've done this before and it's old hat, you may not need this buffer time, but I am certain virgins and newbies do. On the day of the main event, Jade came to the hotel to pick me up. We went to a nearby sushi place for dinner (very nice, by the way, highly recommended). After our meal, we went back to the LRN. I am glad we arranged it this way, because it allowed me to put myself on "autopilot" and simply follow Jade. 3. For your first experience, schedule an appointment/deposit and use the limo. This has several advantages: you know the lady of your choice will be available, you don't have to worry about finding the ranches on your own (although it is easy), and perhaps most importantly, you don't have to work up the cajones to ring the buzzer! True, it is tough making that first call to the ranch, but power through it. Once you arrive and meet the staff, you will wonder why you were so anxious, they are all very friendly and great people. My party with Jade that Friday night was a truly unforgettable experience. I chose to do an overnight stay with her and I am very glad I did. She is an incredibly sensual, understanding, communicative, and beautiful lady, and I would recommend her in no time flat to anyone new to sex or just new to the ranches. There were some hangups, though, due to my situation. Having been a virgin for so long, I was accustomed to using porn and Fleshlights on a regular basis. Now I'm sure most people understand that porn isn't a good representation of how regular people have sex, but I don't know if people really understand what it can do subconsciously. For me the reality of sex was so different, in so many different ways, from what I was used to, that I had difficulties that I never expected to have. I'm not going to go into great detail here; interested virgins can PM me with more specific questions. But these are some of the most important points I took away from my trip: 4. Cut down on your porn intake before visiting. Aside from unrealistic positions in porn, the sights and sounds and reality of you having sex are completely different from watching others having sex on a screen. Even POV/amateur porn doesn't help; it is simply not the same experience. If you normally use videos, try using pictures/magazines instead, softcore porn, or your imagination only. In my case I abstained for a week before visiting and that was not nearly enough. 5. Cut down and modify your masturbation before visiting. Echoing OSU Mike's advice, learn to masturbate with your hand (not a masturbator) with a condom on, and with light, slow strokes. Go cold turkey at least a week before visiting. You want your libido to be at a fever pitch. You may think this will set you up so you come too fast your first time, and you may, but it's better to just get that out of the way quickly and move on to round two. 6. Do NOT be disappointed if the first experiences don't go the way you planned. As any of the ladies will tell you, it takes practice to get sex right. You will not be used to the sensations, the way you have to position and move your body. Remember, this is a learning process. You can get there. You WILL get there. After my party with Jade, I went back to my hotel for a nap and some recuperation time, then I went over for my first visit to the MLBR. Both houses have their unique qualities, be sure to visit both even if you don't plan on partying at both. It takes practically no time at all to get from one to the other and the limo driver will shuttle you if you don't have a car. I met with the lovely bunnies Angelina Sparks and Kylea Taylor. Angelina is a wonderful, sweet, creative, personable girl with a lot of ambition. I had sort of dropped in on her unexpectedly so she was concerned she wasn't ready, but she is absolutely lovely in any state. Kylea is remarkably tall, especially with her heels on, and steals the attention of any room she is in with her killer looks. She has a great, quirky, dry sense of humor that I love. This was just a social visit this time, I was saving my party/energy budget for the day for what I expected to happen next. I came back to LRN that Saturday evening for karaoke night. That night I met the adorable Sunny Star. I had already been in contact with her too, and had scheduled her for an appointment later in the week, but I knew I wasn't going to be able to hold out that long. Sunny greeted me with a wonderful hug and her happy, bubbly, energetic attitude. I knew right away this would be a great night. She had some errands to attend to during karaoke, but she kept checking back on me, and when she was done she sat with me in the parlor and we had a great time watching the ladies and patrons sing. At one point she leaned close and whispered into my ear, "what can I do to make your night perfect?" I couldn't hold out any longer, we went back to her room and I booked her for an hour. After our party we went back to the parlor and enjoyed some more singing, until I practically couldn't keep my eyes open. I took my leave and went back to the hotel to crash. 7. After arriving, take some time to meet the other ladies. Don't worry, your lady will not be jealous (she already has you scheduled, remember ). Even though I had talked with Sunny before I met her, nothing could have prepared me for the instant magnetic connection I felt when I actually saw her. As the days progressed, there were some ladies that I found I wanted to get to know better, though I hadn't really considered them just from board posts. There are plenty of social events that occur at both ranches -- consult the boards or ask your favorite lady for the schedule. Use these events liberally to meet the girls in a no-pressure atmosphere. Generally most of the ladies are in the parlor (or patio, pool, etc.) and you can strike up conversations that don't have anything to do with partying. Of course, if the mood is right, the rooms are just a few steps away. 8) The next afternoon, Sunday, was my first party at MLBR, with Kylea. We spoke for quite a while at the bar, then went to her room for a party that just completely blew my mind. I would have hung around more at the ranch after, but she just so totally wore me out that I had to go back to my room for a nap, but not before we made plans for later in the week . I took the rest of the day to wind down and made a bit of money at the blackjack tables. On Monday, Labor Day, LRN was having a barbeque in their front yard. I didn't make it over there until the late afternoon, but they still had plenty of food. I had a different appetite, though, I had to see Sunny again. Once again, the moment I saw her, I could barely contain my excitement. It is impossible to not be happy around her. Her name is perfect because she radiates warm feelings everywhere. After visiting and chatting a bit, we quickly made our way back to her room and I booked her for an absolutely incredible 90 minutes. I gladly had a hamburger and beer afterward to recharge. The next day, I had fantastic experience, one that I had thought about for a long time, and that most men dream about but seldom get to do. I had a party with Kylea Taylor and Angelina Sparks at the same time. To be certain, it wasn't my cheapest party, but the girls were very accommodating and generous. For an hour, I had an absolutely phenomenal time. However, it probably was too much too soon for me to truly enjoy and experience every nuance. I don't regret it at all, as it was a big "bucket list" item for me, and the girls were totally fantastic, but I feel it would have been even better had I taken more time to get used to actual sex first. I will definitely repeat this fantasy, after I get some more experience. 8. Don't try to do too much, too fast. Go with the flow. Like a buffet, if you focus too much on eating everything you can you won't savor the meal. Wednesday was my last party day. From the time I had begun planning this trip, I knew who I wanted to end with: the stunning, incredible Ruby Rae. I found myself unreasonably nervous for this last encounter. I had partied with multiple ladies and had broken down so many inhibitions over the previous few days, but there was something else about Ruby. After reading her reviews and posts, and looking through all her pictures on the board, she had become almost a celebrity to me. And so when I finally met her, I was back to that nervous little guy who had just stepped off the plane. Ruby was absolutely wonderful though, she sat with me in the parlor and we discussed how my week had been going, and I slowly came to the realization she was a great, down-to-earth person that I could actually communicate with. After having spent several days at the ranches, my budget was razor-thin, basically down to the amount I had reserved just for Ruby. We came to a mutual agreement on price and time, and she was more than generous and understanding. During the party, I suffered again from some performance anxiety, but Ruby worked through it with me and gave me an incredible time. Gentlemen, do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with Ruby, she is a sweet girl. I am positive our future parties will only get better. 9. Lose yourself in the moment with the person you are with. This is not the same as concentrating on the moment! People will say "empty your mind" but that is easier said than done. The goal is to get to a spot where there is simply the feeling of the moment in your mind -- no thoughts at all. Abandon all anxieties, concerns, thoughts, and worries. Let it all go. In summary, it was a life-changing week, no question about it. Some things went as I had expected, others did not. Others went even better as planned. Looking back on it, there were many things I would have changed as far as preparation, and mental and physical conditioning. But there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision to make this trip, and to have these experiences. Each and every lady I partied with gave me new insight. I would (and intend to) party with all of them again. For all of the virgins who are out there reading this post, wondering if this is the way they should lose their v-cards: Obviously this is a very personal decision, but I believe there is no better way I could have done this. Especially for older virgins, there are too many ways in which you may need assistance, and these ladies know how to provide it. You may fear the idea of a brothel, but MLBR/LRN are warm, inviting places, and once you can calm down and find your "zone" you will see there is nothing to fear. I want to deeply thank all the ladies I mentioned above, plus Miss Isis, whom unfortunately I was not able to meet this trip. I also want to thank the wonderful staff at MLBR and LRN, they are all fantastic people who really make you feel part of the family.
