Trebek made broadcast history in 1991 when he became the first person to host three American game shows at the same time. He earned this distinction on Feb. 4, 1991 when he took over for Lynn Swann as host of NBC's To Tell the Truth, which he hosted until the end of the series' run on May 31, 1991. At the time, he was also host of NBC's Classic Concentration as well as Jeopardy! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder

Until 1985, Jeopardy! episodes featured buzzers that would sound when someone rang in. They showrunners silenced the buzzers because they felt the noise was too distracting to viewers. A time for Tony! That is how I feel about partying with you! I put everyone else first but when I party with Randy Ryder it is a time for Tony!
I love how you call him Trebek it reminds me of Celebrity Jeopardy on Saturday night live! Sean Connery always gave him shit! That's not what your mother calls me Trebek!lol
Just did Roxy, thanks! And a little bit more on Think! (aka A Time for Tony): The 'boom-boom" at the end put it at exactly 30 seconds, which is the minimum time needed for a copyright to be issued. And the theme song from Jeopardy's original run with Art Fleming in 1964-1974 was a jazz piece written by Merv Griffin called Take Ten. Sadly, I don't think it's available anymore, but on some old clips of Jeopardy! on YouTube, you can hear the song.
And just for fun, here's the closing theme from the Jeopardy! revival in 1978-79, another Griffin tune called Frisco Disco. It's also used as background music on Wheel Of Fortune.
