You are correct , this is the first time any Toronto team has played for a championship since the Jays won the world series in 1993

 

I hope the Jays won then because that’s the only city recognized by American leagues right

Warriors without 3 key players didn’t have a chance. They need klay and looney to win. Warriors don’t really need Durant. Cousins needs to play better

 

Ya I thought Cousins and Green would score more but you could tell they weren't used to playing together at times. Turn overs and lack of foul calls for boggie and inside as always but Toronto made their 3s and had way to many rebounds and Warriors D wasn't up to par and I still thought they were in the game.

I have been a Golden State Warriors fan since 1975 too. However, I'm rooting for Kawhi Leonard because he went to San Diego State the same college that I graduated from. Aztecs for life. Not many athletes from my college make into professional sports. Although, I was the academic tutor for Tony Gwynn who made it into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Fred Dyer who played in the tv show Hunter played for the LA Rams, Carl Weathers who played Apollo Creed in the Rocky movies played briefly for the Oakland Raiders and Brian Sipe was the quarterback for the Cleveland Brown. They were before my time at San Diego State. These athletes found their calling in different professions.
