Did Dennis get to ride the 1st train?

As a local dignitary (or at the very least, the most successful businessperson in the area), did Daddy D get invited to ride on the inaugural train run on the "new" Virginia & Truckee between Virginia City and the new Eastgate siding in Carson City with all the other local "powers that be" last Friday? If not, I don't know why. Especially since the MLBR sits on land that used to be part of the rail yards there in Mound House (see my post in the General Forum entitled "What is Mound House? http://www.bunnyranch.com/chat/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26937).

The first one (to run the entire line that has been completed so far) was in August. They're running every weekend through the end of October. See the Carson City Convention & Visitors Bureau website for ticket info.
