I got to visit some of the great places there. An amazing church community who steps up for the homeless. One church closed it’s doors and brought the homeless in for the night in a blizzard. I met an amazing woman name Lisa there who shared her story after her husband passed away from a blood treatment which was mistakenly tainted with HIV. She lost everything she owned, however was a local celebrity because she testified in Congress after her husband’s death. What an amazing place to see and amazing people to meet. xoxo, -K
