Illegal reopening vs legal.

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by AlexaHaze, Mar 28, 2021.

  1. Having spoken with management it appears the ranches have to present how to open legally safely. Before they get a start date.
May 1st is a mentioned date.
Yet its not concrete. The bunny ranch brothels are hoping for it as well.
But nothing is set in stone.
My concern is the chicken ranch. If they open on there own illegally will there be a government backlash against the ranches, ? Or will the governor turn a blind eye and all ranches follow suit. ?
Im concerned it may make things worse if a illegal reopening happens.
    Any thoughts?

The threat from the government is real. In Minnesota, the state Attorney General is very busy suing businesses that stayed open in defiance of closure orders. All of those businesses were trying their best to adjust their processes to comply with CDC guidelines.

It is a shame that the brothels have to prove to the government that they are safe before they can open. Each business should be able to decide for themselves when they open. They should only be closed after it has been proven that they are public health hazards.

I've been vaccinated. For me, the virus isn't a threat anymore. Every day, more people are vaccinated so the threat to everyone else is going away.

There is no way that the NV Governor/Task Force would allow any of the ranches to operate illegally. It would just be another reason for the NV Governor to try and keep them closed.

And waiting for the approval of how the ranches can open safely is why I think (and I may be wrong on this) that the Bunny Ranch has not said anything about opening its doors on May 1st. It would be horrible business to push opening on a date that has yet to be approved. What would happen if many people showed up (some from across the country) to the ranches on May 1st, only to find out that they cannot open due to whatever (lame) reason the NV Governor/Task Force gave. The Bunny Ranch would have a PR nightmare on their hands. Not to mention all of the (understandably) upset clients outside the gate.

It's a (pardon my French) poopy hand for all the ranches to be dealt. But even a 2-7 Offsuit (poker reference) can win a hand (trust me, I know from personal experience, stupid idiot flopping a full house to knock me out of a tourney). But let's let things play out. There are steps that need to be done before the ranches can open. Im sure they want to make sure is solid before announcing that they can open. Im sure once they know for sure they can open, they will let everyone know. But for those that are getting mad and upset about no information being presented by the staff, I think that you are getting mad/upset at the wrong people. You should be directing that to the NV Governor/Task Force who forced the ranches to close. The Bunny Ranch staff are just waiting to be given the green light to open, and then they will announce something (im sure).

  4. True i agree. Management right is seeing may first as whats mentioned by sisolak. But the chicken ranch has even put a opening day countdown on there site as if its in stone (may 1st opening) which its not.
Regardless i hope we reopen on the 1st or earlier.
I think maybe the chicken ranch jumped the gun and its why the other ranches are all playing it safer and quieter untill we have a set in stone date.
I was clearly told as of now there opening date is illegal by the bunny ranch management and thats why we are still waiting to make sure beyond anything clients are able to plan visits .
Hoping no backlash occurs if the chicken ranch follows thru on there date and countdown, on all the ranches.

  5. Im hoping that along with weekly state std screens we have access to vaccinations along with it. Its more difficult for us younger courtesans to get it. But im hoping , fingers crossed that in april the vast public can get vaccinated so the government has to see safety is first.
Right now were talking of just testing untill the vaccine is more available for reopening.
It is a shame weve been closed this long while even hair dressers and massage parlors can function in some states fully.

    Two points:
    1. I don't remember which ranches did this, but there were ranches that submitted plans for reopening back in May/June. The governor's office didn't even point out where/if the plans were flawed, it just ignored the brothels completely.
    2. It sounds like the governor's office has set the standard of opening "safely". This has been the standard since the start of the pandemic across the country, and it's convenient for bureaucrats because it can mean anything they want it to mean. Therefore it's impossible to meet. For example, what does "safe" mean? A 0% chance of transmission? A 0% chance of death? Meeting all CDC guidelines? Something else? (This is a rhetorical question. I'm not expecting anyone on this board to answer it because it's the governor's office duty to define its terms.)

  7. Over the past year, I've read comment after comment on how the Ranches should have never been closed, how they need to reopen now, the impact that closing the ranches is having on people's lives, but there's no mention of the permanent impact that a covid outbreak at even one ranch could have over the whole industry. Everyone on this forum is pro brothel, but there's a long list of powerful people who will use any negative publicity to end legal prostitution.
It's tragic how many people are losing their livelihood, how many people are unable to lose their virginity, and even how badly this is messing with people's minds. My heart goes out to anyone who has suffered any serious impact from the ranches being closed. However, people could have died. What would your opinion be if a courtesan lost her life and infected some, if not all, of her clients? I apologize for the graphic nature of my question, but it could have happened.
We've all waited more than a year and hopefully the ranches can reopen safely on May 1st. I'm just hoping that when the ranches do open, that nothing bad happens. we are so close to getting things under control. Maybe even back to normal. Let's not screw it up.

  8. ok, I've heard a lot on reopening on may 1 and maybe opening somewhere down the line where its safer. But let look at it from this view, patience is a virtue yes, but how long is too long before the ranches are permanently closed and they are just another landmark that people take photos in front of and past clients remember fondly what it was like back when they were open. If the governor doesn't open the brothels, that is what will happen.

  9. That is also a valid point, my mind isn't changed, but it's definitely worth thinking about. I'm hoping that enough people will go to keep them open, but that nothing bad happens. I'm going to wait until I'm fully vaccinated and that kissing is allowed, which may be awhile. I'm hoping that lineups will come back to, because I prefer the exhilaration of a lineup, even if you can get more with an appointment.

I think the ranches down south have gotten some assurances from the county and maybe the state that reopening would happen May 1st or they wouldn’t have proceeded with their plans. If it doesn’t happen . They will pull back and not open illegally. Just my two cents.

as far as the vaccine, many states are going to meet the goal of the vaccine being available to all adults 16 and older by May 1st.

I understand the concern about a backlash from the government if there's an illegal opening, but hasn't Mustang Ranch been doing "social escorting" (wink, wink) for a few months now with no backlash?

Chicken Ranch May have jumped the gun on opening on May 1, but I can’t really blame them. They finally got a time table on the brothels which is better than what came before which is nothing. I’ve seen the Twitter posts from Madam Trudy before the May 1 announcement, and one that broke my heart was when she had to turn the sign off. Madam Tara of Mustang has been active on Twitter as well, and until Mustang started with their escorting, was posting about the uncertainty of things, even mentioning that one of their girls saw a regular client illegally outside the ranch and he assaulted her. It’s sad but the girls still have to make a living.

Many of the girls that used to work the ranches have gone independent. Something not advisable but what else outside of OnlyFans can they do?

So the May 1 date is kinda the rock and the hard place. It’s not set in stone, but the ladies are anxious to get back to work. If the governor left it up to the counties, and if Nye County gave the go ahead, then Chicken Ranch should be alright.

  16. Hi Miss Alexa Haze, my understanding is that the younger generation will be able to sign up for the vaccination on April 15th. I'm half way through my vaccination. My second dose will be on April 14th.

I want to add a little something here. One of the responses (although not on this board) is "These women could just get a nice job in retail. That way they wouldn't be working in a job that offends my sensibilities." The problem here is that when (some) governors closed restaurants and other businesses, the retail workers there went to other businesses. So even if the ladies at the ranches wanted to compete for those jobs with people who had retail experience, the market was saturated before they got there.

As for Onlyfans, there are 500,000 to 1 million creators, depending on who's talking. That's a tiny slice of the pie for each creator. Doubtless there are a few at the top who can make a good living at it, but with a 20% cut it's hard.

Finally, a little math analysis. If you go to Table 3 here:

    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm

only about 3% of covid deaths were from people age 44 and under, which is virtually all ladies at the ranches. After all the safety precautions the brothels put together (which would've lowered the risk even more), the ladies should've been allowed to choose if this is something they wanted to do, given that covid almost certainly would not happen to them.

    And a little compare-and-contrast:
The population of NV is 3,000,000. If the adults are about 70% and only 10% of those adults have been having monogamous sex over the last year, that's ~100,000 possible transmissions/year

With 35 ladies at the four ranches, let's say they have one client/day. That's only about 13,000 possible transmissions/year. It therefore follows that the governor should've banned sex because it's the far greater risk. Clearly, everyone would think that's ridiculous. But instead of focusing on what the actual threat is, he steamrolled a ban on the brothels in a combination of fear-mongering and virtue-signaling.

  18. Good news. I heard that also is about to happen in april here in michigan.
I think itll definately help calm nerves on all sides. Ill be getting vaccinated as soon as i can ❤

  19. Really appreciate this. Only fans and modeling so far has kept me afloat and doing well. Truth be told also i love what i do. I miss it. And its difficult when people say to find another job or etc when its not what i love. I think government misses everything. They just see it one sided.

    Appreciate you hun.

A lot of the brothels are talking about reopening may 1 , not just the chicken ranch. Hopefully Lyon county opens up as well.

  23. Hoping so. I spoke with management. So far the chicken ranch is opening illegally. Untill the governor gives the ok. So idk. They have there date and lineup set for may 1st while still being told not to.
    I just hope its soon.

  24. To me, the solution to reopening the brothels is relatively simple. The thing about brothels is that they have always sold themselves on being a place that is SAFE to have sex. They have been very strict about having the ladies tested weekly to insure that no one is going to transmit an STD/HIV and they follow this protocol very strictly so their customers feel safe. So, to reopen and reopen successfully is to insure that ALL employees, including the ladies and staff have been fully vaccinated and tested weekly for Coivd19. Secondly in order to party at a brothel, any customer must show proof that they have also been fully vaccinated. All of us who are fully vaccinated have a vaccination card showing that we have been vaccinated. So, we walk in and show our card and the brothel insures us that everyone has been vaccinated and we have a SAFE environment/ So, that creates a safe environment for intimate activities. Much the same as it is now. and away we go. The ladies can get back to work and we customers can feel as safe as we always do.

  26. It is simple. The only complications come from government. Maybe its just a bias against us. Not sure. Right now there talking of testing for covid weekly but no recommended vaccinations...odd. but yes thats whats discussed lol.

What about for the ladies that aren’t thinking about getting this supposed “vaccine” done..we’ll be then out of a job? The vaccine literally just came out how do you know it’s safe to take, me personally I’m not planning of getting it. And don’t think anyone should force you to take a vaccine to get back to work.

;)[smilie=hi ya!.gif]In my humble opinion, I see no problem as long as the clients are vaccinated and the working girls are tested weekly for COVID. [smilie=hi ya!.gif];)

I agree with you 100%. I think if the ladies were vaccinated too it would be a great selling point.

  30. You have a point there but I think all the ladies need to have regular testing until herd immunity is more established. I am fully in favor of customers being required to have vacinated as we are making a choice to go to the ranches, but it should not be a requirement for your employment.

I agree it may not be fair but it may be necessary to mandate the ladies and staff get vaccinated to get the state/county to allow them to reopen which is tbd at this time.

Yeah but all the ladies that aren’t interested in getting shot up with gosh knows what they have in that so called “vaccine” will not be able to return ... it has mRNA in it which we really have no idea how it will react in our bodies. I don’t think brothels can make it mandatory... people should be able to choose if they want it or not.. doesn’t seem legal for the government to force you to put something in your body just to be able to work..,

The government will determine if the brothels will reopen. They will have to do what they need to do to make that happen. They already make you ladies undergo so much to work there at the ranches.

  34. mRNA is actually very well understood

  35. As I have stated on another post we have all Brothels open here they were to follow gide lines out of the 2 I go to only 1 is not following gide lines
here is how they should go in the l.5 metters name and phone number to be left and lasytly ssheat to change after each booking by the ladys
