A group of ravens are a particular favorite of mine, because they have so many titles (probably associated with all of the myths surrounding these birds...?) The most common I see is a storytelling of ravens (a title I adore, because it does sound like ravens are "talking story" when they are together. It seems a mostly North American reference from what I can tell, but I could be way off on that). But I've also seen a collection of ravens referred to as a conspiracy, an unkindness, a constable, and a despair. I love me some corvids. These are crows in this picture, but please humor me for the visual.
Having been in many bands, I can report we mostly acted like Gorillas after several rounds of tequila!
True story. When my mother was young she was picking blackberries, fell backwards and sat in a grist, give or swarm. Couldn't sit down for a week.
When I was young visiting my relatives in Missouri, I came across a huge bed of freshwater clams and mussels. My cousins and I gather up enough for a big pot of dinner for everyone.
Sound like educated crabs kinda like my history professors in college - they argued about everything, too.
Now this sounds like cockroaches have stopped just scurrying around everywhere, and are drawing up invasion operations. Scares the crap out of me!
