    Miles Davis would have been 89 today. He is credited as one of the most innovative, influential and respected figures in the history of music. His individual expression, emphatic interaction, and creative response to shifting contents had a profound impact on generations of jazz musicians. The video linked below is a live version of a song from the album “Kind Of Blue,” (not the album cover pic shown) the biggest selling album in the history of jazz (RIAA certified quadruple platinum). It has been ranked #12 in the Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
    Happy Birthday Miles. The first song I learned on the guitar is a Miles Davis tune.
