Good evening all, Looking to purchase a new Gibson Dove or Taylor Koa wood acoustic guitar. Do you have any recommendations? If so, which one and why? If you have another choice in mind, which would you choose and why?
I personally like BreedLove acoustic guitars. They’re reasonably priced plus they look and play beautifully! I have the Fender Acoustasonic on my wishlist. A hybrid acoustic/electric Strat or Telecastor!
I bought my Son a Taylor and it plays smooth and sounds great but I want and think Ovations are really it for me
Thank you for the input @AngelWave and @lover5! I appreciate it! The Taylors do play rather well and have a warm and bright sound. I am hoping the Koa wood will be even better. They are hard to come by in stores to attempt caressing the strings. Breedlove guitars are great as well! I have seen the factory in Bend, OR. Nice place! A friend of mine purchased one of the legacy styled guitars. He really enjoys playing it. R/MG
