I did a search for hotels in the Reno/Carson area, and I’m hoping to find one for a good deal. I know about the Gold Dust West and their BunnyRanch discount, but I wanna see some other ideas. I got a month to plan. I better hurry.
If you want to stay closest to the ranches, Gold Dust is your best bet. If you don't mind staying further away ( but still in Carson) and looking for a lower $ motel that's highly rated, Mill house motel is the ticket.
I get on one of the search sites like booking.com... Gold Dust is good but they can sometimes be beat with the price.
I stayed at the Atlantis Casino in Reno for $80 per night. Looking at the receipt, taxes were another $40 per night. I like to visit on the weekdays when the rates are lower.
If your trip is mainly focused on visiting the Ranches, Gold Dust is the closest and most convenient. If you’re going to be doing any sightseeing around Reno or wanting to do any hotel activities, the Grand Sierra has a lot to offer.

My last trip out for a Ranch visit I had stayed at the Hardman House Hotel on North Carson Street. The building might be old, but I had a pleasant experience during my stay. They are available for booking through the discount travel websites as well as directly with the front desk.
