Planning my first trip to take place before Xmas although driving through the mountains may prevent this (at least for now), and I was wondering if Ellie is currently active? I'd like to speak with her and try to make a plan for the near future. Thanks!

That's been a tricky subject ... the Mustang had been promoting itself as an escort agency but haven't heard anything re: the Mound House ranches lately. The latest round of state lockdowns most likely has affected that.
