Please share how you picked your stage name and/or board name. Is there any special meaning, reason or significance to the name you picked? If yes, what?
Well, my board name comes from combining my initials (BTF) with the designation for St. Louis (STL). And there you have it...
One of the original board guys was Arctic Bear because he likes bears and was from Alaska...I like bears and I'm from Tahoe.
I named myself after Audrey Hepburn because Breakfast at Tiffany's is my favorite movie and I love her character in it Noelle is a name that I've always liked and it's not very common at all so I chose it because it was more unique. I didn't want a "common" name, especially if I could chose anything!
My board name is my nickname that my Harley riding group gave to me after a road trip/run to San Diego. It involved a lot of tequila and a 9 ft tiger shark. The adventure/trip was so AWESOME and after that the guys never doubted the amount of guts nor the limits of craziness I could reach.
So something of a convoluted story.... There used to be this cartoon on Nickelodeon my ex wife and I would watch sometimes called CatScratch. There was this goofy character on it called Waffle. When we first got our first Xbox -we decided to name our online names MisterMacWaffle and MissesMacWaffle. I just like the name. She's changed her online name since the divorce..,
Casey has to do with something in personal/private life, and Cross - for the saying "Cross my heart".
I usually prefer something anonymous and ambiguous at first. But also something that describes myself or how I feel on most new social sites or forums.
I got my name from a lovers that I asked, " what kind of flower I would be?" they said, "Desert Rose , because I am from the desert and my hair is the color of a Rose."
When I first joined the message board I did so out of curiosity and didn't give my username serious thought. I just thought of something that had meaning to me but I did not use as a user name elsewhere. The DMV part of my name is a geographical location, not a physical location where people go for licenses, driving tests, and other driving services. Although, I do like to tell people I meet on here that I actually do work at the DMV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, "kaynine" was based off my nickname in high school, as my first name started with "K" and I wore the number 9 for soccer and baseball. The 26 was my age when I joined the board a few years back.
Well my board name is the trail name I adopted when working for the forest service in the Wind River Range in Wyoming. I didnt shave and was nicknamed grizzly by a few other wilderness rangers. So there you have it.
I've actually had two or three previous board handles, none of which stuck (I can't even recall them, lol) until my current one, which finally worked. The "Running" part comes from participating in half marathons and 10/12K events and "Squirrel" from the many encounters with the frolicky critters on weekend runs. Of course, it's simply "RS" to everyone here and in the Livestream chats.
Simple one for me: It's my first name (Colin) and the designation for my home area of St. Louis (STL). Very easy, eh? lol
I picked my name from a character in the movie Reservoir Dogs. My first name is Ed, and the Nice Guy Eddie character really isn't a nice guy, so it kinda fits.
I was driving from California to Indiana many years ago... I was a Headliner/Stripper with bigger breasts then I have now... dark short hair and big breast....Betty Boop with a lot of sexuality
Veronica just popped into my head while I was at a red light. I looked across the intersection and there was a Holiday gas station lol.
I got Asia Because I'm half Japanese and Doll because I'm such a Barbie doll an that's what my friends call me back home
I lurked on the boards for over a year and even had my first few parties without a board name. It was encouraged by me to post reviews by a lady. In order to post I had to create an account. At the time, @RubyRae had a fascinating thread asking people psychological questions, such as , "If you were a tree, what kind would you be?" One of those questions was related to weather. My answer would be a Thunderstorm. It fit me. I like to make women wet and tingle. I also have periods of quietness and then loudness, just like a real storm.
My favorite hockey team is the Vancouver Canucks, I'm the only one who cheers for them in my group of friends, so they started referring to me as the "Caknucklehead" and it just kind of stuck.
Well my name is Allen but always was Big Al or just Al... As for Big Albowski?.... Many years ago there was a wrestler named Val Venis who had a porn star gimmick and referred to himself as The Big Valbowski... my friends and I at work were fans of wrestling so before long I was being called The Big Albowski... and it stuck! The Big Lebowski is just a happy coincidence!
My real name is David and David Xanatos is my favorite character from my childhood and Gargoyles aired on my birthday. I aspire to be like him so I use his name.
I didn't pick my name, it was bestowed on me by a couple of Bunny Ranch babes (Kylie, Alexis, & Bailey) a long time ago. I still feel honored Given names are the best!
So my name comes from my back tattoo(which are wings). There is a video game called Tales of Symphonia that I played as a kid and related to the main character a lot, and her name was Colette, and she had these beautiful wings. So when I turned 18, I got those as my first tattoo. Then as I became a camgirl, Colette just stuck out in my mind because I already had her wings ;P And my cousin helped me choose the last name, Wingtouched.
Sitting around with my two old roommates at the time and we brainstormed name ideas. I knew I wanted something short, easy to remember, and I love alliteration So we came up with Ruby, short + red hair, and Rae because it just seemed like it went. I'm very attached to my name now, but I do wish I would have picked something more....."normal"? My thoughts at 20 aren't the same as now at 26, so I think I probably would have gone a different direction if I started at the age I am now. Nonetheless, I love the name Ruby Rae and all it has brought me.
