Nor Belger’s demise, nor Machine Gun Willy’s. There is just no winning with some people. It’s sad there aren’t many arcades anymore. Last night, I went to Boondocks in Kaysville and got to play this new Ninja Turtles game. Raphael is still stuck on the ungodly side of the machine, but at least it’s comfortable.
"GLORIFIED GOKART" I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I drove a VW Bug for awhile and loved the fact that people punched each other because of me
Ohhhh, am sorry you didn't get to audition, but the Joffrey Ballet's loss is our gain. If it still hurts I would love to kiss it better
Why the frown? A little crooked has made it even more desirable! Now I want to see it (and kiss it and be in awe of it's perfection) more than ever!!!!
Awww, that sounds great!! My little crooked "perfect-imperfection" loves a bit of attention. Hehe! And I will definitely return the pleasure!
One thing I forgot to mention is I’m a karaoke addict. I can do it without a single drop of alcohol. I always seem to gain a fan following when I do it. One night, I found myself signing some drunk girl’s boob. Ahh, the life of a temporary rock star. I should try to come on a karaoke night.
I absolutely loved these fun facts! Perfect way to get to know this darling ^-^ I sure enjoyed myself
Another random fun fact ... which involves another bone break, because apparently I am accident-prone: I broke two toes/my foot on the flying trapeze trying to perfect a trick. The crack was loud, and it was incredibly painful ... but I succeeded! Despite the break and pain, it is one of my most favorite memories.
I am absolutely obsessed with Johnny Cash. It makes me so sad I will never have the chance to see him live.
I can relate. I missed out on a chance to see Motörhead when they played Salt Lake. They were on stage for 40 minutes before Lemmy stepped off stage, then returned to announce that he couldn’t finish the show, that they’ll be back. Lemmy managed to finish the tour, but there were a few shows cut short, and a few shows canceled. Sadly, Lemmy died just a couple of days after his birthday and Christmas. His birthday was actually on Christmas Eve. As a baby, my daughter used to rock out to Motörhead. When I told her that Motörhead weren’t touring anymore, she asked me why. I simply said, “Lemmy went home,” and got a giggle at her puzzled expression.
Aw, that's too bad. At least with music, the artists leave recordings we can always hold onto. A sort of immortality in a way
First... that's impressive, breaking toes and a foot but being able to succeed! Well done Sorry that you didn't get to see Johnny Cash
Heh! Thank you I'm glad you "get" it. A lot of people thought I was nuts for being excited! And that's okay ... I am fortunate to live in a time where I can still hear his recordings
I’m a little sad that I’ll have to miss Slayer on their final tour. Can’t afford tickets. A friend of mine was trying to win tickets from a radio station, but luck wasn’t on her side. I had a choice between two concerts, Slayer and Ghost. I chose Ghost because it was going to be my daughter’s first concert. My daughter bowed out at the last minute. I was bummed and relieved at the same time.
At least in that scenario, the bad side of the outcome is you still get to see Ghost in concert! hehehe!
I was in a long distance relationship with a girl that lived in North Dakota...though when I met her, she said she was in Wyoming. Then she said she wanted to be with me, but was banging another dude and got pregnant by him. I spent two years thinking her name was Sheri, but it was actually Danine. It didn’t end well. I’ll tell the longer version when I get there.
Yep. It was the longest long distance relationship I’ve ever been in. I have had other long distance relationships that didn’t last more than a week. But this one was a major shit show. It’s a long, fucked up story.
I am often told I have had a very interesting and diverse life, and that I am a great conversationalist. I also love getting to know others. Let's explore each other! [email protected]
