JenLynn: You're quite a woman. I think he's out
for the night.
Ruby: I
love my job. We'll get him up in an hour and go at him again
(laughs).
Growing up in Akron, what made you
want to get into the adult industry?
Well, I saw several movies that had
exotic dancing in them. I fantasized that I wanted to dance. I
didn't care whether I had clothes on or not, so when I turned
eighteen I became a dancer. I saw my first adult movie at thirteen.
That may have started some fascination, though it was more
educational.
Did you see the movie by yourself
or with somebody?
By myself, but then I passed it around
the high school.
What happened for you in adult
entertainment after that?
I house danced at a couple of clubs in
Akron. Then I found a stripper magazine and realized -- oh my gosh,
I can get a salary for this! Then I went on the road as a feature --
just a little magazine girl feature with no boobies -- and did a
really good show around the country for three years. I did a lot of
swinging and made my way into L.A. I thought doing porn would
increase my rate on the road.

Did you like the idea of doing
porn?
I saw no problem with fucking on film.
I have very liberal parents. No one's ever judged me and I'm the
eccentric of the family. Nina Hartley got me into the business, as
well as Anna Malle at Lifestyles in San Diego. After Lifestyles I
went to L.A. and went directly into porn. I did a lot of gonzo. I
worked with some of the best labels and directors in the industry
including Shanesworld, Wicked, Vivid, The Zone, Dangerous Tides.
I've also worked for some of the nicest cocks in the industry. And
some of the nicest pussies, too.
How many movies have you
done and what won't you do?
I've done around 200, give or take a
couple. I never did anal except for The Ultimate Guide to Anal
Sex for Women by Tristan Taormino, where I did my first anal
with a toy. I liked it, but I want to wait to do it on my own terms.
I've also not really been into facials, but I like it elsewhere. I
like to see it, and I can't see it on my face.
We worked together on Slumber
Party 9
-- is that your final
appearance in adult video?
Slumber Party 9 was my last video for anybody other than Chle
as a director. She's going to be directing with Elegant Angel. She's
one of the most gifted women I've ever met in my life. She's my best
friend. I get along with her and I trust her. I've been at it for
four years, and I want to pull back for awhile. I haven't had a
chance to have an organized fan club or get into the Internet and
get my web page up or get into the sex toy business which is
something I've always wanted to do.
When do you think your web site is
going up?
In about two to three months. It's
going to be www.rubyxxx.com or www.ruby-xxx.com. Eventually, I'd
like to have an extensive site with streaming video and do it all
myself. I want the content in between the sex to be just as fun. I
want anything but formula. I'm sick of the same old same old. I need
to do something new. I plan on doing some documentary from up here
(at the Moonlite Bunnyranch), as well.
What about adult industry folk who
frown on porn stars working at a legal brothel?
Well, I think they're hypocrites. I'm
sure I'm going to be talking about some of my friends, but they need
to understand one thing: When you fuck for money, it doesn't matter
who pays you... you are a whore. It's unhealthy to deny something
about yourself that's there. Their excuses are reprehensible. I get
tested more thoroughly than they do through the state (of Nevada). I
am PCR/DNA tested every month, just like in movies, and in addition
we are tested every week. How many times in the business has
gonorrhea or chlamydia gone around? Or you're fighting that
infection that just doesn't go away? And every girl in the industry
knows what I'm talking about.
I've heard that time with you can
be more expensive than some of the entertainers at the Moonlite
Bunnyranch. How do you feel about that?
I think some things are worth it. I
like to work 2-3 times a day, maybe four... I think I maybe could
get four, but I'd be pretty sore after that. I want to keep her in
the best possible shape. That's why she's so expensive.
What are your favorite types of
parties?
I like the one-on-one parties. I like
to get really into my client. Although as a swinger, I'm not at all
opposed to couples. I do many kinds of parties. I do dominance...
but I don't do submission (laughs). I just love when we're
both coming. It's like sex camp here.

Video | How long do you plan to stay with the
Moonlite?
As long as they'll have me. I have a
great room! (Laughs) I like that it's different than porn in
that I can dim the lights and put on some favorite music and get
intimate with my client. They're coming for me, and that excites me.
It's a very spiritual business in a way, and that's what I enjoy the
most. Plus, I have a gorgeous room. It has a fireplace. I have a
great bed. I have cable. I have food 24 hours. I have a maid. I have
a bunch of wonderful friends around me. I have a safe place to work.
Nevada is the only state where it's legal, and this is the best
brothel in the United States, period.
Ruby smiles. By now her
hand is on my knee, and she gently squeezes. I follow her eyes and
see that our client has wakened. He's been quietly watching and
listening, planning his move. There's no doubt about it -- he's
ready for another round. I still have a few questions for Ruby, but
we've had enough talk. Her tongue tastes better than words. As we
kiss, our gentleman moves up the bed toward us. The sun isn't up
yet, and we have plenty of time.
Ruby will be appearing at the Moonlite
Bunnyranch through Monday, February 28 and again starting March
10. Call 1-888-Bunnyranch for more information or check out their
online
