As my vacation is coming to an end, I decided to make Eggs Benedict from scratch for my folks as Fathers Day brunch

 

This was my FIRST time poaching eggs and they came out pretty darn good!

 

It was also my FIRST time making Hollandaise from scratch !!

 

So yummy and surprisingly easy! Avocado and Cholula hot sauce made it perfect

 

The hollandise was a fool proof recipe of softened butter and egg yolks cooked over a double boiler, with boiling water added gradually. I seasoned it with lemon juice, salt, pepper & a dash of cayenne

 

These look absolutely amazing Chloe...it makes me hungry just looking at it!

Well...for breakfast I can make some mean scrambled eggs and killer bacon. I also make a killer homemade chicken noodle soup. And if it's grilling on the BBQ some big fat Ribeyes and some grilled veggies to go with it. Also my killer specialty that I don't always get the chance to make is Dutch oven potatoes...mmm and for desert Ez Eclair(sadly cannot eat anymore)

I have been really loving making grill cheese with turkey!
I also like making ramen with hard boiled eggs, parmessan and spinach !!

I have also recreated an HOP peanut butter pancake, by mixing peanut butter with sugar, butter and powdered sugar. And it tastes whipped and amazing

Eggs benedict is by far my FAVORITE breakfast or brunch item. Oh my- it sure is good! Any new breakfast spot I go to- that is the first thing I try. I've never made it from scratch though. I'd love to try it out sometime soon!

 

I am not an expert at cooking but I feel like it would be a really fun thing to learn from cooking classes!
I took some in elementary school, but I would prefer to add a little bit more romance this time heh: )

Yummmyyy! I’ve never tried the PB pancakes! I also sometimes like to swirl in a egg cracked tho into my ramen when I make a packet on the stove

 

I love eggs Benny too!!! At the brunch buffet at fandango I peeled crab legs and made a crab eggs Benny in lieu of the canadian bacon. This was my first time making it and first time was a charm!! Are you guys allowed to cook on the stove at your house ?? If so I’d love to make you some eggs Benny ! Maybe for a lucky man as well after a 2 girl over night party

 

I like mine medium rare as well...gotta have the perfect amount of pink...the first pic is my ez eclair... chocolate top with a creamy filing and Graham crackers to split the levels. It's really good but very sweet

I would absolutely love that! I’ve always wanted to do a cooking class as a first date.. 2 girls cooking with one special guy would be even better !!! Memories to be made !

I love a good salad ! Luckily for us they stock our kitchens with a salad bar we can help ourselves to full of fresh veggies. Does anyone else love beets ?
