7 years ago I tried to get a passport but failed and never followed up. 3 days ago I sent all my stuff off and hopefully get approved. The only thing I'm concerned of is the copy of my license is damaged you can see my face and all the vital info but some of the sides got cut off its a worn Id so it was impossible to get a perfect copy. It was in color but it said to print in black and white. Will a small thing like that cause me to not get it? How knit picky are the US department of state? Last time I sent a copy of a learner perment which the form said isn't valid for identy so I'm hoping since I have a driver's license now I'll get it.

  2. Not sure how picky, but you can probably bet on "slow" for sure! Good luck!!

My experience has been that they're extremely picky about everything being done exactly the way they stated in the instructions. Good luck with this

  4. Did they quit allowing "in person" applications at most major US post offices? Wouldn't that be your best bet. make an appt and let them be sure all the paperwork is correct?

I did mine at the post office a few days ago I guess if it gets sent back I need to get on the phone with then and ask what exactly I need to correct

  6. U probably need to get a new "Verified Driver's License" by now anyhow. I'd say bite the bullet and hit the DMV armed with your favorite porn vids of me to watch while waiting in line and gitterdun!

Better yet, make an appointment to do so at the DMV and then make an appointment to see ME!!

I'll probably go to new Orleans for Thanksgiving even if I get my passport. It's only 1 time zone away so it won't cost as much for tickets. It costs 3k to go to perth Australia round-trip and that's just economy. I'm sure it's mainly because it's so far away.

I have been wanting to get mine for years but it seems way more difficult than it should be. particularly considering that it seems I need a drivers license, which I don't have because I have a medical condition which prevents me from driving so I have never needed one.

I also assume it's more difficult post pandemic than it would have been prior to 2020.

the bunny ranch is on my bucket list, has been for years but the process of getting a passport seems like it will be rather difficult.

  12. I just heard on the radio that now everyone is going to be able too renew their passports online.

    I don't see any fails there....

Do you have a government issued I’d? Their are people who do not drive have to travel over seas. Do have passports…Check with who issues them..
