I was going to ask how I missed these, then saw they are recent. (whew) You look great and I wish I could play every day.
Well, I'll leave the decorating up to you.... And I haven't forgotten about the goodie box. I'll make a Costco run tomorrow or Tuesday and send the box up right after that.
You are going to enjoy it! And if you come to Hawaii, I'll point you to the nearest Costco so you can buy goodies in bulk to take home (so be sure to bring your membership card. Also, if you rent a car, Costco and Sam's Club has the cheapest gas. Don't worry, I'll remind you.... )
Oh I have my Costco card I love it and I look forward to getting your advice on places to go and see might need a tour guide
If you have Sam's Club membership, bring it as well. We have both here on Oahu. 3 out of the 4 Costcos on Oahu have gas stations. Costco is also located on Kauai, Maui and the Big Island, and I believe they all have gas stations. We have one Sam's Club gas station, located near Pearl Harbor. I've been helping out Christine Fowler at Love Ranch with her upcoming trip to Maui with her friends. So I've been cluing her in on some things that recently have come into place, like the national park on top of Haleakala instituting a ticket/lottery system to control traffic during the sunrise (it's awesome, and it's also cold! The elevation is about 10,000 feet or so). When you get to Kit Kat, you can also ask Daniella Valenti about Oahu (she lived here before coming up to the ranch) and the Big Island (she spent about a year and a half there). You just missed her, but Imogen Steele at Sagebrush would've been another good source, as she spends time on Molokai and Oahu, as well as New Zealand. And another one to ask is Cumisha Amado, she spent about 5 years or so here in the '90s, so her general knowledge of here is still good (I updated her on some things when I was there). And I can't remember if it was Kit Kat or Sagebrush, but they just picked up a new girl who said she's from Hawaii. I would be honored to be your tour guide. And since you like to eat, oh man, all the places we can go! And like the mainland, we got Starbucks all over the place, though I will take you to some of the local coffee places to try their stuff. Hopefully, I can introduce you to the Ka'u, as well as the Kona coffee blends.
