Campaigning through Northern Nevada today, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul picked up the enthusiastic support of Nevada brothel owner Dennis Hof.

After sitting through a 20-minute press conference with Paul, Hof vowed to put up a collection box outside the door of his Moonlight Bunny Ranch brothel to take up contributions for the candidate who he says, "Makes a lot of sense, doesn't he?"

"I'll do it today," he said. "I'll get all the Bunnies together and we can raise him some money. I'll put up a collection box outside the door. They can drop in $1 dollar, $5 dollar contributions. What a great way for the working girls to support Ron Paul. It's just the right thing to do."

Paul's campaign was surprised to see Hof, flanked by two prostitutes, emerge from a limousine outside of Lawlor Events Center this morning. They arrived with MSNBC journalist Tucker Carlson, who has been traveling with Paul for a piece he's writing for the New Republic.

Ron Paul has NO CHANCE of winning!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's the truth. The presidential election is a popularity contest, plain and simple. Ron Paul is just not very popular!

The bottom line is that he does not have the numbers to win the Republican nomination!

In order to win, he has to win primary contests that are happening 10-11 short weeks from now, and a large majority of the country has never heard his name before! No chance!

I welcome his ideas on many of the issues (military withdrawal, ending the war on drugs, repealing NAFTA and the PATRIOT act, etc.). It's nice to hear these ideas being brought up in Republican debates.

But come February 6th, once Guiliani (or maybe Romney) sews up the nomination, Ron Paul will fade back into the obscurity that the media has kept him in.

I know the media owners are threatened by his views, but they also don't report on him much because he is a minor candidate with no realistic chance of winning. Sorry.

I would disagree with you.

This is an MSNBC interactive created by them.
It has 108k votes and is pretty neat...
If you follow this link to an NBC web site, you will clearly see what you have said is wrong, people love the message Ron Paul is sending!

"Nevada Brothel Owner Pimps for Ron Paul"

As usual, the media misleads and sensationalizes to attract readers. This may be my last day for Huffington. I am constantly disappointed by your suggesting that good people have gone bad and it's all for your numbers.

And this site is supposed to be about truth and clarity in the news?

As far as the ****ing contests that some of you are having, shame on you. Go play in the street.

Ron Paul on the issues:

"The John Birch Society has some supporters in Congress. Ron Paul of Texas recently argued:"The beneficial, educational impact of the John Birch Society over the past four decades would be hard to overestimate. It is certainly far more than most people realize. Anyone who has been in the trenches over the years battling on any of the major issues - whether it"s pro-life, gun rights, property rights, taxes, government spending, regulation, national security, privacy, national sovereignty, the United Nations, foreign aid - knows that members of the John Birch Society are always in there doing the heavy lifting. And most importantly, they approach all of these issues from a strong moral and constitutional perspective. Lots of people pay lip service to the Constitution, but Birchers study it, understand it, apply it, and are serious about protecting it and holding public officials accountable to it."

Has anyone confirmed this over the years it has been here posting, expecting people to believe it?

Also, the following first alleged reference is wrong.
"Magna Cum Laude" is wrong. and this should be called out.

The term should not be capitalized and is written wrong as is.
Makes one wonder why all first letters are capitalized. Infact this whole resume seems to be in PEACOCK formation!

The correct way would be "magna cum laude".
Political science also should not be capitalized.

Ron Paul's Constitutional Philosophy:

Ron Paul's interpretation of the Constitution is called "Conservative Activism."

Here is a description by brilliant law professor Geoffrey Stone in one of a great set of articles on Constitutional interpretation:

"This brings me to third conservative methodology -- "conservative activism," which sounds like an oxymoron, as it should. But it is in fact the dominant form of jurisprudence on the Supreme Court today. It is conservative activism that explains the Court's decisions invalidating regulations of commercial advertising, invalidating campaign finance regulations, invalidating affirmative action programs, invalidating the use of race to promote integration, invalidating zoning laws, invalidating laws prohibiting the Boy Scouts from discriminating against gays and lesbians, and invalidating federal laws dealing with the environment, handguns, domestic violence, and age discrimination.

Conservative activism offers the worst of both worlds. It undermines the decisions of democratic majorities, not in order to protect the rights of minorities, or the powerless, or the oppressed, or the disenfranchised, or the dispossessed, or the poor, or the downtrodden, or the accused, but in order to protect the interests of corporations, the wealthy, the privileged, the majority, and the powerful. Like the Lochner era of which it is the constitutional and moral descendent, modern-day conservative judicial activism is a perversion of the values that the Constitution was designed to protect and, more specifically, of the values the Framers relied upon the Court to protect."

Obviously, "conservative activism" does not describe Ron Paul's interpretation of the Constitution, because he does not "protect the interests of corporations, the wealthy, the privileged, the majority, and the powerful." If you put Paul on the same political line as Kucinich, then you need a remedial course in EVERYTHING. Kucinich gives a damn about the poor and struggling middle class and would make sure the federal government does too. That's not true with Paul. People like you hear Libertarian and think it has something to do with a benevolent government bestowing health care etc on the desperate and you hear Paul talk about getting out of Iraq, which is the only issue he's right on, and think that's the guy for me. I have allowed you to misspell Israel for about two weeks now. I first noticed this misspelling on a Ron Paul post that you were yet again spamming and throwing massive amounts of links to wikipedia, something which most lazy, uneducated, paid hacks do.
I have allowed you to write this word "ISREAL" appx 30 times....Each time you were never called out nor did you notice your spelling mistake. Which means this was not just an accidental mistake...You have NEVER spelled this word right!

MY QUESTION to you:

With someone as (ALLEGEDLY) experienced and educated in "political sciencing" knowledge, how is it you misspell one of the most commonly used words in your own area of education, "ISRAEL"?
30 TIMES?

I submit you are a liar, spammer, and likes to mislead and agitate. You are rude and often offensive to many. You teach others these same manners. I have called you out and so have many others.
Your drab personality and useless cut n paste rants deserve little if no attention.

So what do you think about Ron Paul's racist statements made in 1992 that he took almost ten years to apologize?

Here they are:

Ron Paul, writing in his independent political newsletter in 1992:

"Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action,"Paul wrote.

Paul continued that politically sensible blacks are outnumbered "as decent people." Citing reports that 85 percent of all black men in the District of Columbia are arrested, Paul wrote:

"Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,' I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal," Paul said.

Paul also wrote that although "we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers."
.....

He added, "We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such."

Paul also asserted that "complex embezzling" is conducted exclusively by non-blacks.

"What else do we need to know about the political establishment than that it refuses to discuss the crimes that terrify Americans on grounds that doing so is racist? Why isn't that true of complex embezzling, which is 100 percent white and Asian?" he wrote.
.....

Relaying a rumor that Clinton was a longtime cocaine user, Paul wrote in 1994 that the speculation "would explain certain mysteries" about the president's scratchy voice and insomnia.

"None of this is conclusive, of course, but it sure is interesting," he said.

So far Paul is the only candidate to bring up
in the debates:

The 9 trillion$ debt. The real cost of the GWOT.
The illegal invasion of Iraq.
The attacks on the constitution and separation
of powers by the Bush Administration.
The 40% loss in the value of the dollar under the Bush Administration.
The potential end of the Dollar as the global reserve currency and what that will mean to all Americans.

So for stating a clear policy on those issues
the MSM, Dem's, Neocon's and Repub's are running overtime trying to paint Paul as a NUT, White Supremacist, John Bircher. Tucker must snickering in his Ovaltine right about now over the Pimp for Ron Paul line.

Would you rather hear Hillary asked whether she likes diamonds or pearls? Or how she is going to give us Universal Health Insurance?
Hear how Benito will whup those terrists's cause he can protect us?
