For me the breakthrough came when I talked about exercise with my dietitian. I hated gym class in school and I dreaded having the conversation about it with her, even though I'd lost some weight dieting alone.
"Just do ten minutes," she said.
Huh? That was contrary to all conventional wisdom - you had to work out at least half an hour to do any good. But ten minutes was bite-size - manageable - and I got started. The crazy thing is that after a couple of weeks, once I was warmed up on the elliptical machine I actually WANTED to pick up weights. I never pressured myself to count. I just lifted until I was tired or had to get the day started. I told myself virtually anything was better than nothing, and just keep it fun. I've kept it up for just over two months now and while at 41 I'll probably never look like a muscle guy, I see and feel the difference, and it feels really really good. More importantly, exercise is a habit. I hope I can continue this for a long time to come. Hey, I was even able to put on my old cycling jersey the other day! I hadn't worn it in 10 years!

I like to lift weights. You burn triple the calories then cardio and it really lifts and tones.
Sex is really the best full body work out!

I've always liked outdoor workouts more, but when it's freezing out I'm happy to go into a gym!
I love Weight Training"!!! I've been Weight Training for 12 Years!!! Staying fit and healthy is very important in enjoyable life!!! Without good health, it's difficult to enjoyed life to it's fullest!!!
