This has been explored many times before. The basic premise is that Nevada law is set up strictly with the intent to allow females to work in the profession. (ie: requirement of cervical screenings... whereas males would not have a cervix to screen). There's an HBO special about Heidi Fleiss attempting to do this, but per my understanding this has been suspended indefinitely until certain things are worked out.

You have a lot more men on average who are willing to pay for sex than women as far as I know. I don't think it be very successful. I know women go to the ranches too but the largest part of the business come from men. So a man wouldn't make nearly as much money at the ranch
I think it can be equal, it's just not in your face as much with women. I think women go more the male escort route.
