These are a couple pictures of a Timpano I baked. Well actually, it’s two different Timpanos. The dish is featured prominently in a movie called “The Big Night”. It is basically a savory cake. The shell is pasta dough, and the interior is filled with rigatoni, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, pepperoni, and meatballs. You can add or subtract ingredients for the interior. There is a lot of flexibility on that.

 

I'll have to make my famous homemade lumpias for our party!!!

Two of my favorite dishes from my home state of Michigan that I make

Almond Boneless Chicken (Michigan/Ohio style) Chicken cutlet with mushroom/almond gravy on lettuce and rice.


Detroit style pizza. Deep dish with very crispy edges, shown before adding sauce.
