Coronavirus questions... Is the ranch still open and other questions...

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by ERIK THE PHANTOM, Mar 16, 2020.

  1. So, with most of the businesses in the United States being shut down and most areas being in "lockdown mode", I was wondering if the Bunny Ranch is affected by this and if it's still open.

Also, I was wondering if the courtesans and clients are taking any precautions (assuming it's open).

I was actually thinking of coming over to the Reno and visiting the ranch since plane tickets are super, duper cheap, but my retirement and stocks are currently taking a MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR ass whooping :( :( :(.

I wish I knew how to short stocks. I imagine I would be making pretty good money now.

Yes Eric the ranches are open. I am at Reno airport on my way home after being in town for 4 an half days for the St Pats event. Some of the NV Brothels are rumored to make clients wear masks during sex.....not at the ones in Carson City. Book your flights and enjoy!!

  3. Yes, we are open! Edit/Update: We are not open for 30 days beginning Mar 19. Go to page 3 of this thread for more info. Thank you.

    Dear Friends and Lovers,

I hope this finds you and yours quite healthy and well!

    – Firstly, I and the Bunnyranch are located in Moundhouse, NV which is Lyon County and we have no reported cases of COVID-19. We are located an eight hour drive from Las Vegas and Clark County where there are reported cases and where all the casinos are temporarily closing.

    – Well, firstly I must actually say – I am not panicking! Do not panic, but do educate yourself and carry on. Education, preparation and preventative action – not panic. You cannot build a fortress of toilet paper and protect yourself! ;)

    – I am riding the wave of the stock market. It is definitely a buyers market and a great time to buy because it will correct itself. We will be alright! I am taking advantage of the buyers market and low interest rate! This is great time to buy and let’s keep our economy robust by doing our part and buy, buy, buy!

    – Secondly, choose one news source and stick to one trusted news source that is not creating panic but educating you with reliable news. Remember, we have a 24 hour news cycle and many sources provide too many so called experts, giving their “opinions” to create news just to fill airtime. Be smart and filter the BS, from the real educational and informative news.

The Bunnyranch has drastically increased their cleaning and disinfecting protocol by also keeping additional maids on every shift in charge of both the rooms and the common areas.

The Bunnyranch, because of the intimate nature of our business has always practiced even better than hospital like practices of disinfecting and keeping our ladies and our place clean and healthy and we have amped up our disinfecting practice 100 fold.

    – We are all seen by a physician weekly for our mandatory testing for STDs. Therefore, we are all very in touch with our health and we have an open door policy to see our physician and be seen for any reason at any time.

    – The Health Department has always been the most strict, critical and helpful governing body of the legal brothels in Nevada. We have spot checks and adhere to the most stringent and particular rules for our operating protocol and also their recommendations in the cleanliness, health and safety of our employees and patrons alike.

    – The Bunnyranch (and all the ranches) are also demanding anyone exhibiting any signs of illness, even if it might just be allergies – to go home and stay home until they are 100% better.

    - We are asking all visitors to wash their hands in the restrooms right at the entrance before going any further in to the ranches.

    - All bar stools are 6ft or more apart. All the ladies and employees have received special and additional instructions on our unique workplace precautions we all have to take.

    - Smoking has been banned from now and forever in all the ranches. Yay!

    - We are limiting congregating. No Tea parties (sales meetings in close quarters), no Livestream.

    - PSA and instructional videos on how to properly wash your hand and reminders to wash your hands and such will be playing on all the parlor TV's 24/7.

    – I am screening my potential clients and I'm sure the other ladies are doing so too.

    – I reserve the right to refuse to see anyone which has been my right to do for many, many years.

    – I and the Bunnyranch have many, many years of practicing safety, preventative and personal hygiene measures to combat many forms of colds and flu viruses form all over the country - and the world - for many, many years.

    – I am working with clients that want to change already scheduled appointments.

I have more information on COVID-19 particular to my practices on my website under "What's New".

Effective way to use hand sanitizer against COVID-19

Also here is some information for my clients coming to see me via air travel

    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/05/wha...arding-a-plane-in-the-age-of-coronavirus.html

What to do if you are boarding a plane in the age of coronavirus
    Harriet Baskas
The spread of coronavirus and cutbacks in domestic and international airline schedules continue to raise concerns and insecurities for those with travel plans for the next few weeks and months.

If your airline cancels your flight, your employer restricts business travel or an organization cancels its scheduled conference, your decision about whether to go or stay home will be made for you.

But if you’re in the wait-and-see mode or decide to pack your bags and go, here’s what medical experts say about avoiding germs while flying.
    Before you fly
During normal times, airports and airplanes are germ-ridden places. So experts say now is the time to pay extra attention to the health and hygiene rules you likely practice anyway, such as washing your hands often and packing items like hand sanitizer, tissues and extra supplies of medications. You may also want to make copies of your health insurance paperwork before flying.

Travelers hitting the road in the next few days, weeks or months should double check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for up-to-date information about travel advisories and risk assessment by country and think through contingency plans before leaving home.

“Have someone available in case you need help with emergency travel plans or need to get home quickly,” said Jonathan Fielding, professor of public health and pediatrics at University of California, Los Angeles and chair of the U.S. Task Force on Community Preventive Services, established by the Department of Health and Human Services.

But keep in mind that as the virus spreads “you never know when a city you’re in or about to travel to is going to be sealed off, flights cancelled, or travelers quarantined,” he said.

    At the airport
At airports, germs can linger on the screens at self-service check-in kiosks, on the bins and belts at security checkpoints, on escalator handrails, food court tables, in restrooms and gate seating areas.

Generally, to avoid germs at the security checkpoint, you should never walk barefoot though the metal detector, said Charles Gerba, a microbiologist and professor at the University of Arizona. Place your shoes on the belt, not in a bin. Put whatever you can, including your jacket, your phone and the contents of your pockets, into your carry-on instead of into a bin. And take a moment use hand sanitizer in the post-security repacking area before rushing off to the food court or your gate.

Airports across the country say they are increasing the frequency of cleaning routines and the intensity of cleaning products at “high touch” areas in shuttle buses, washrooms, security checkpoints, food courts and other areas, adding hand sanitizer stations and taking other actions to keep passengers and employees healthy.

Denver International Airport is installing sanitary wipes in jet bridges to allow passengers to sanitize their seats on planes. And in a list of new protocols at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, officials say more than 100 new hand sanitizers have been installed throughout the airport, with 100 more to be installed soon. Cleaning frequencies at high touch points have been increased and contractors are being equipped with hospital-grade disinfectant and wipes for faster response and cleaning.

But passengers should still take extra precautions. “Our studies have found that viruses can spread very rapidly via the hands because of the large number of surfaces that you touch,” Gerba said. He advocates washing your hands often, using hand sanitizers with at least 60% alcohol and using disinfecting wipes on hard surfaces in airports.

And before your flight, “wait in the least crowded areas of the airport and try to stay at least six feet away from anyone else,” said UCLA’s Fielding, “And try to board the plane last, after the line has thinned, so you’re not stuck waiting in a tight space with lots of other people as they board.”

    Avoiding germs on the plane
While many airlines are canceling flights and temporarily reducing schedules on some routes in response to COVID-19, they are also sharing details about increased cleaning routines and adjusted in-flight service routines on aircraft still flying.

On Wednesday, for example, American Airlines said it was enhancing cleaning procedures on international flights and aircraft that remain overnight at airports. “This move, which will touch the majority of our aircraft each day, includes a more thorough cleaning of all hard surfaces, including tray tables and armrests,” the airline said in a statement.

On its blog, Alaska Airlines shared a video explaining how its airplanes get cleaned and noted that its crews are paying extra attention to sanitizing arm rests, seat belts, tray tables, overhead controls for air vents, light buttons and call buttons, and the interior and exterior handles to lavatories.

Despite the airlines’ efforts, “I advise people to bring their own germicidal wipes to rub down the high touch surfaces, the armrest, meal tray and the button that makes your seat go back,” said Paul Pottinger, infectious disease specialist at UW Medicine, the health-care system at the University of Washington in Seattle. “It’s also mighty neighborly to offer one of those wipes to the person you’re sitting next to.”

Pottinger doesn’t recommend the use of face masks for healthy travelers because he says there is very little evidence to support their effectiveness at keeping away respiratory viruses.

“If people like to use them though, that’s OK, but I worry that they are so uncomfortable that a traveler may end up fiddling with the mask and actually increase the risk of getting sick by forcing them to touch their face, nose and mouth,” he said.

And when it comes to the overhead air vent, the consensus is that having it blow air toward you is better than using it to blow air away.

“The air in the plane blower has been filtrated, which can remove more than 99% of dust and microbes in the air,” said Fielding of UCLA. “By having the vent blow on you, you create an invisible air barrier around you that creates turbulence – simultaneously blocking any droplets that may have viruses within them and forcing them down to the ground.”

That is great news @aztecwarrior2881. I hope you have a wonderful time. I’m sure you will.

If you have just a couple hours free try to visit Virginia City. I go there every time I’m in the neighborhood.

You have plenty of time to chat with many of the beautiful ladies to get to know better. If you’re there the right time in September you might get to enjoy either the Street Vibrations weekend or even better than that the @ColinSTL birthday party is a blast. There are a couple of videos out there of the last birthday party. Colin and his brother are great!!

Wish I could join you but..... it’s just not in the cards for me anymore.

I spent Friday to Monday at the Sagebrush Ranch and partied with my ATF Roxy Gold on her birthday. There were many guys that were regulars last weekend for St. Pat's. Not all of them are message board members, but I have met them before. It was nice to see a bunch of the ladies having appointments show up, even if a few had canceled appointments because of the bad weather. Some guys went on outdates for the crawl too and got to see them and their dates.

When I get the coronavirus (unless I get a vaccine that works for me) I won't be getting it from the brothels. I will probably get coronavirus from going to the casinos, the stores or restaurants. I'm 70 with underlying health issues and have a better chance of dying from coronavirus than most younger and healthier people. I have no fear of going to the ranches, the ladies and staff there are very aware of health issues and I would rather spend my time there than any other public place, but I can't afford to party all the time, lol. It's like some people and their fear of STDs, just go to the brothels and enjoy yourself and don't worry about it.

The Bunny Ranch's main page was updated tonight with an Official Statement from Madame Suzette which Amy already posted some of the changes. So I guess that means I was on one of the LAST Livestream's we will see for awhile. Well it was an HONOR and a PRIVILEGE that I owe to @Air Force Amy. Thank you Hun!

As for the smoking ban I like that part. Seems like every time I entered the front entry it smelled like I was in a casino then I realized it was coming from the "door greeter." I'm not super sensitive to smoke but before I show up for an appt there I take pride in the fact that I SMELL and look good.

OK here's the updated link from MBR:

  29. Official Statement

MARCH 17, 2020 BY CHUCK MUTH

Nevada Brothels Confront, Tackle Virus Dangers
(Chuck Muth) – Nevada’s legal brothels – like every other business in the state, especially service businesses – are experiencing challenges posed by the continued spread of the Wuhan Virus.

But unlike most other businesses, brothels already have extensive experience in minimizing health risks to their workers, their clients and the public.

“The women working in our ranches are already subjected to weekly health tests,” noted Suzette Cole, owner of four brothels in Lyon County and president of the Nevada Brothel Association PAC. “And our people have been fully trained to screen clients for potential health risks and take appropriate measures to protect everyone.”

“However,” she continued, “the coronavirus threat is far more serious than what we usually deal with, so we’ve taken a number of additional safety precautions at our properties that are in line with recommendations by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and other health care professionals.”

Among the additional steps detailed by Ms. Cole…

    • Regular staff memos and management reminders on good hygiene practices to all brothel workers, employees and patrons
    • Adding hand sanitizers to all entrances, exits and public areas
    • Enhanced deep-cleaning and sanitizing of high-contact surface areas – including restrooms, ATM machines, bar tops and door handles – every two hours
    • Suspension of all group staff meetings until further notice
    • Suspension of all group events, parties, social gatherings and celebrations until further notice
    • Reducing by half the number of bar stools to increase the space between customers
    • Implementing additional “social distancing” recommendations by the state’s Medical Advisory Team
    • Invoking an indoor smoking and vaping ban in all public areas, including the parlors and bars
    • Prohibiting clients and workers who have been overseas in the previous 14 days
    • Courteously and professionally asking patrons exhibiting signs of illness (coughing, fever or breathing difficulties) to come back at another time
    • Requiring independent contractors who are ill to return home or check into a hotel and self-quarantine until well
    • Sending employees home if sick and requiring a doctor’s note before being allowed to return to work
    • Encouraging “virtual happy hours” with clients and friends to maintain human connections and social interactions during this stressful period of time
Ms. Cole added that she is monitoring press reports and communicating regularly with medical professionals, first responders, law-enforcement and elected officials to keep up-to-date with developments.

“Health and safety is, and always has been, our primary concern,” she concluded. “We’ll continue be vigilant, caring and sensitive in order to safeguard our workers and clients and do our part to bring this national crisis to a close as quickly as possible.”

Mr. Muth is president of Citizen Outreach, a limited-government grassroots advocacy organization, and government affairs counsel to the Nevada Brothel Association. His views are his own.

You can find this full article. HERE

reported, the link is "live" as you immediately land on www.bunnyranch.com with a really sharp graphic pop up window to click on.

So, if you don't see it just refresh your browser, reload your page or clear your cache - or just trust me that you will find the same wording , as I cut and pasted it from the pop up that is now on the front of the site.

God bless you all and take care. We will be here on the board you are are all in our hearts and @ Pizza Man is on my mind. I just can't get that man outta my mind!!! .... maybe I'm hungry for another delivery.:p

    Kisses!! xoxo

And that was the statement released Tuesday, March 17. As with most things, the situation changed and on Wednesday March 18, 2020 Governor Sisolak shut down all the casinos, the Las Vegas strip, all small business and all "non essential" business to include the legal brothels for 30 days. He obviously has not had any sex in well over a decade and it is no longer essential to him and we have again been tossed into the Las Vegas and Clark County death trap of illegal vices.

So, yes we are closed for the first time in history. Suzette is absolutely devastated for our employees, our ladies and our clients. However, we will come back and come back strong.

No. we are not allowed to take deposits nor are we keeping deposits. We have made the decision to not run our credit card machines at this time. If you have appointments scheduled within these 30 days from March 19-April 19? Please stay in touch with the lady you have an appointment with to reschedule your play dates. You will not lose your deposit.

From what I understand, all the ladies have left and gone home until further notice so I'm sure (I hope) you will be seeing more of us here on the forums to interact with you.

Personally, I think it is a good idea for us to comply. The safety and well being of all our employees, ladies and clients alike has always been of paramount concern.

Please be patient, take care of yourselves, stay healthy, stay positive and let's have some fun here on our boards.

Had another great weekend at the ranches and didn't give it a second thought my entire trip. While you could see the extra measures in place it did not take away from the experience at all so if anyone is debating be assured you're in good hands.

So much so with the lower airline rates and getting an extra paycheck this month that hits in a couple days , I'm leaning toward a return this weekend.

To give you guys an idea Southwest was showing $99 -109 each way cross country with no notice, and I got free roundtrip for just over 12,000 points.

The ladies have been amazing despite all the cancellations with so many people living in fear. Show them your love and book your appointment today!!! And keep it :D

I think the point Raz was trying to make was not to let what is going on right now discourage you from going to the ranches in the immediate future. Yes he had fun (as did I) this weekend, but this was more to help put people at ease about going to the ranches during this time.
