Have you gone to any midnight showings of the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"? When I was in college it was a big deal to dress up and go as one of the cast, and act out scenes as the movie is shown. Yeah, pretty crazy stuff. And you get to dance to "The Time Warp". Fun times.

Anyway, there are two redheaded-lady characters in the movie: Magenta (played by Patricia Quinn), and Columbia (played by Nell Campbell). Pretty sure they are not natural redheads, but they sell it pretty well on screen!!!! They are so naughty at times.... :shock:

truth of the ginger pain studies, yes the MC1R genetic mutation which gives us red heads our outstanding hair color does likewise alter the pain reception and endorphin release. As for Anesthesia, the initial research study that kicked all of this pain research off, was a clinical trial specifically with women and Pentazocine. Where the other hair colors in the study required less. Belief is that the same mutation in the pain receiver that blocks the pain, like wise blocks the synthesized pain blocker (I.E morphine) thus requiring more.

Red heads have been shown to feel less pain towards spicy food, noxious stimuli such as electric shock, and skin irritations ( although given the pale complexion our skin irritation come across looking worse). Red heads likewise show more pain with thermal stimuli (I.E Ice)

My personal belief of pain as a red head, I grew up on the beaches of southern california, I work in the most inhospitable deserts of the word, and I have even had second degree burns from being in the sun too long. After a while the pain is so common you ignore it. Anyone who grows up suffering from regular burns I would imagine would eventually develop a higher pain threshold.

Also Ruby I think we should have an all red head party sometime soon :wink:

Poor Christina Hendricks...stunningly gorgeous, beautiful body, but- NOT a "real" redhead! I find out all these interesting facts of who is "real" or not (Lucille Ball? Not real! It's PG because there are lots of pics of kids and it's very pro-redhead/anti-bullying. It's crazy that some of the most beautiful women (and men) I've ever seen are *still* tormented growing up because of our natural genetics.

But, I get submissions constantly of actresses from all decades who are convincing, but fake...the BEST + REAL redhead actress ever in my opinion is Maureen O'Hara. And I don't know much about her acting, but Jessica Chastain is the only real redhead out there these days.

Guess that means we just have to represent MORE for our kind! I'm a bookish, highly educated redhead but a 100% no holds barred lover in the bedroom as well; and you're right- sensuality is the name of the game. I only wish I had the money to come visit. I wonder what kind of shenanigans you and I could get up to in the bedroom...sigh. My hair is lighter than yours and near my waist, but I have the same translucent alabaster skin. My eyes are green + blue. I have a corset-loving hourglass figure with natural 36DDs- a very comfy snuggler, too!
