I has having a conversation today and someone showed a picture. I can't post it because there is a child in it. But I will describe it for you.

It was A disabled child kissing a German Shepard on the snout.

So that inspired me to post a thought.

It can be any thought. For example; every Thursday when we are ending our tea party we say a positive thought.

Life is a challenge; each day we’re faced with the unknown. That’s a magnificent feeling to be faced with. Wouldn’t it be boring if we knew what lay ahead of us each day? I challenge you to face your unknown day head on while keeping a positive means about yourself. The affect this has on your demeanor as well as others around you can and will change your life. ~C.Smith.

Your dog is sweet! I can tell she is very loyal. Seeing your pic made me think of my dogs. The simple joy and excitement my dogs have when I walk through the front door totally amazes me. I can be gone 5 hours or 5 minutes and each time the same thing. How can you not love that?! So my thought of the day is let's all try to live our life with the ease and joy of a trusting playful puppy.

Yes indeed Jade, coming out of that hell made me the person that I am now, as strong as ever in mind, body and spirit. :mrgreen:

You can say the Fates were with me during those darkest of all moments, including the love and support of my family.

Otherwise, I would not be here typing this. :shock:

I would agree that that is a very inspirational saying !! However, I don't necessarily believe it true. I've taken on challenges several times in my life which I never believed I would win but I knew I had to win.

The big battles in life, the ones which truly matter, I believe are won by those who simply refuse to give-up. To those who are willing to pay any price and bear any burden and are okay with accepting the consequences of failure, should that happen.

I'd also add that you are always stronger than you think you are, you can always go further and fly higher than you believe possible. When your back is against the wall, you will be amazed at how strong you truly are.

I was reminded of this when my brother was hit by a car a few years ago and in a coma for 3 weeks. He is completely fine, but i realized then that life's too short.
