I first met Dani when she started at the MLBR a little over a year ago. I knew then that I was destined to have a party with her, at some point….. However due to schedule issues, and timing it was not to be until this last St. Patrick’s day party at the MLBR. It was well worth the wait. Dani is a Beautiful Raven haired, musician in and out of bed. A Girl Next Door (I dream of), She is a well educated conversationalist, fun loving, cuddly, person you would love to have as a best friend, are only the beginnings of ways to start to describe her. As the weather was bad, and I didn’t really want to drive that night, esp. if I were to be doing any imbibing, I called the ranch and arranged to have a ride out to the ranch. I arrived a little early to the Ranch, a little less than half an hour before the festivities were to begin, to settle in, have a drink, and do a little one on one time with the other ladies there as well as some of the board members that were attending the party also. I was also a little cold as well, as I was wearing a kilt, as to why I was cold; I leave to the reader’s imagination. I was met in the parlor by Dani, who asked if I wanted to get a drink and relax a little before we went back and partied or if I wanted to go directly to her room, I said that I wanted a drink and to sit down for a few minutes so I could enjoy the view and wrap my mind around the fact that I was finally going to get to party with her. We both got drinks and sat down to talk and warm each other up a bit. About that time Miss Suzette started up some of the festivities, and we watched the Pole Dancing competition together. Dani thought that she was going to be competing and was nervous, but she wasn’t called, so she breathed a sigh of relief. After a couple of raffle ticket draws we decided to go to our private party, Dani was so excited, she almost forgot to go to the office to do paperwork, but I reminded her of it before we got past the bar. (I hate to have to go back and do paperwork rather than start and then get interrupted), anyway we got to the room and proceeded to make history. My party was everything that I could have wanted and so much more. When we finally came out of her room the party was still going. We sat down for a little bit and had a drink. The smile of joy took a couple of days after to wear off.

Hah! That is why I didn't meet you. I came late and left 3 hours after the party was over.
