Hayden took time off to have a baby. she was living in Oklahoma city.

I spoke to Hayden 10 days ago and we discussed a Bunnyranch baby shower. She was so happy!

Monday I got a call from her roommate that said, there was house fire and she feared Hayden was dead. The next day she called me back and said Haydens aunt had confirmed it was her and that she had been shot with three others and that the killer burned the house with the four in it.

I have been working with the Police and & media re this awful murder. We have been asked to leave her pictures up for a while hoping that someone will see her pictures and flashback to seeing her somewhere or with someone.

If you have any info or links to post her please do so we all can be informed as to what is going on.

We all love you Hayden , more than you will ever know. I am confident that HayHay is in a better place.

This may be the saddest day in the 54 year history of the BunnyRanch.

Horrible for such a thing to happen to such a beautiful woman with so much on her horizon. I offer my deepest condolences to all who would recieve them. I can understand violence in a war, but to shoot someone at home, and to shoot a woman no less is unspeakable. I hope someone pays.

Such sad and tragic news.

I was fortunate enough to meet and talk with Hayden a little bit at St. Pogus.

She was beautiful, funny, witty and had an amazing life ahead of her.

Her MySpace page had indicated she had found love and was happy.

There was no one like her, and I'm sure that's a sentiment better understood by friends and clients who experienced her more intimately than I did.

My deepest condolences to her family, friends, and her extended Bunny family.

Tonight, heaven has a new angel in its midst.

It is hard to believe that a lovely young life like this could be cut so short. Most of us who served in the armed forces have seen death and been touched by it, but the sorrow in loosing someone so young and beautiful is hard to digest. This kind of violence in the US has become way to common. What a terrible tragedy to endure, especially for her family and all of her friends at the ranch. The only thing worse is knowing she was with a child. My sympathy and tears go out to all of her friends and family.

Just saw the story and I am truly, truly shocked by what has happened. There are no words that can express how horrible this is or how I am feeling right now. I only hope whoever did this will be arrested and brought to justice quickly.

Like many I was shocked to hear about the loss of Hayden. I had the pleasure of getting to meet her back in March. Always fun to talk to and a real sweetheart.

Words can never express the shock and sadness that accompanies this news. While I had never met Hayden, I chatted with her several times online and found her to be a real sweetheart. I keep thinking I will wake up and this is all a bad dream..... Hayden was the definition of life, she was different every day, anxious for it to arrive and to live and be part of it.....She loved the ranch and loved those that were part of her life.........

I met her at St, Patrick's last year, had dinner with her the first night, and while she grew on everyone that weekend, it was the next weekend in NYC that she came in for a show with Dennis and we all went to downtown Chinatown and a wedding for dinner........I laughed so hard, and Hayden wanted to be part of the wedding party, and her gift the bridegroom, well I won't print it here, but you had to laugh when you were around her.....

But now she is gone, and I think of the overwhelming challenge that the girls in the ranch have to keep her memory alive and fresh to the ranch and to each other and to many of us...... I for one will never forget her, and i will pray for her family as they deal with the entire way this went down...

Thanks Hayden, and remember....I will see you " After Tomorrow......"

This tragic news hit me very hard. Hayden would sometimes have a hard time falling asleep and would call so I could talk to her until she fell asleep. She called me Spartacus and it always made me smile when she did.

Hayden will be missed by all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her in life. She brought joy to many and left us way too early.

I hope her family and friends, as well as all of us members of the Bunny Ranch and Love Ranch community, somehow find a way to cope with this untimely passing and remember her for being the sweet and wonderful young woman that she was.

I did not get the opportunity to chat with Hayden but I did pass her several times while at the ranch. Having read what others have written about her, she was indeed a special lady.

I wish that I could stop the tears from flowing, the hurt, the pain and sorrow, the pit in everyones stomach, and of course that I could turn back time over the loss of Hayden. But I can't. I can only give you some words of comfort that eventually you and everyone else will get through this and will remember the goodness that was Hayden as you think about her in your thoughts and prayers.

Truly feeling at a loss for words to adequately express my thoughts at this time. My sincere condolences to her friends, coworkers and especially her family.

Hayden was such a strikingly beautiful woman - inside and out. Let's remember her for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and warm presence.

I had a wonderful time going to the Camel Races with Hayden and Bunny a few months back, and had a wonderful time getting to know her.

I only knew Hayden from the message board. I’d been a member for a couple of months when I saw my first behind the scenes view of Bunny life. Somehow Hayden had crashed a stopped scooter in a Taco bell drive thru and took the time to photograph and post it.

That was cool enough. Now, I’m not a tattoo person, and normally would have gone on to the next post. But I couldn’t. I kept staring. She just oozed beauty, love, fun and energy. I still smile when I see it (before I cry).

When people like that are so rare and we need them so badly, why do they have to be taken from us?

Why couldn’t they just leave her alone.

I miss her so much.

I can’t fathom the depth of the pain of those that knew her better, her child, her family and friends, the friends at the ranches/boards, and the family and people that were killed with her.

I remember when Hayden first came to the Ranch during St Pogus last year. My first impression of her was that she was really beautiful and a extremely talented pole dancer.

Over the past year I really got to know Hayden as a Bunny sister. She was always entertaining us and kept all of us involved with what was going on. I truly believe that she cared about all of us. I was always excited to see her.

Hayden I would miss you even if you were coming back tomorrow. See ya in the next life!! xoxoxo

This is tragic news. I remember being with her on my last visit, sitting at the bar and talking about her tattoo on her right wrist. It said "beautiful" in Japanese. Indeed she was. I miss her.

I agree Dennis, I find it pretty suspicious that all of a sudden that he wants to take interest in his daughter.I hope this is something the Police will look in to and investigate.Dad's timing is a bit to convenient to my liking.

I was an escort and body guard to Hayden and her friends when they would come to town to dance at Betty Boops. We went horseback riding, 4 wheeling, swimming. I remember taking her and Kerri to Wal-Mart on one of their visits. They were tired from working the night before so they hopped in the buggy and I pushed them up and down the isles as they threw stuff in the basket all the while people were looking at us like we were nuts. Fun times!! Hayden was all the wonderful things everyone has said about her and more. She was a friend and will be missed dearly.

I've never met, e-mailed, or chatted with Hayden, but I will say this: while I used to watch Cathouse to see the sex, I grew to watch Cathouse because of the women and their personalities. You are a loyal, loving, beautiful family -- and I know that Hayden must have been a wonderful soul to have been embraced by such a spectacular group of people. I got to meet Hayden (Brooke) last September. We shared a drink at the Bar (Water and Water) and had a very nice conservation together. I could see she was in deep thoughts, but she still took time to keep me company. I am VERY sadden I will not get to know her more. My prayers are to her family, and her extended family at the Bunny Ranch. She was a very beautiful, talented, caring, and loving Bunny, young woman, and mother. She will be greatly missed.

What happened to Hayden was very tragic. It can be very difficult to cope with a sudden loss such as this. And it will be a loss that will be felt for a long time.

Hayden touched many lives during her short life. As long as we continue to share all the great memories and the great times that we shared, Hayden will be with us always in our hearts and minds. By always remembering, she will never truly be gone.

Our loss was Heaven's Gain. Godspeed Hayden.

This feeling of emptyness will continue with each of us for a long while,and depending how well or how much she meant to each of us, it will linger and hurt differently....

I thought of Maya coming back today to the ranch, and Hayden and Maya were a late nnight fun team that would call you at stange hours, as Spartan had attested and wake you up and make you laugh....

Today, i think of Maya returning,,,,and I get so sad immediately of Hayden....

Lot's of voids in everyone's lives, and mostly the girls that worked with her over the last year....We all have a job to do to fill those empty spots in each other's lives to help ease the pain, and take the pain away....It's part of the healing, it starts differently for all of us, so be sensitive to those that take longer, they have a larger void to fill.....

Love you Hayden, St. Pogus Day will not be the same..........

I never met Hayden, but I am deeply saddened by her passing nonetheless. My heart goes to her family, firends, and extended family at he Bunny Ranch. May she rest in peace.

This is really a horrible situation.....

I'm sure details about her life and what brought her in to a circle of people that introduced her to her killer will come along as the case moves forward. I have all the faith in the world in our men and women in blue and the coroners, medical examiners, and death investigators who are working this case. I'm sure the coward will be caught.

I didn't know Hayden, however I feel compeled to mention that this is the second time in a year that a woman who worked in the legal brothel system met with an untimely end as a result of another's actions. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who knew and loved her...and for the rest of you girls.....for heaven's sake be careful who you trust and spend your time with.

....I don't wish to preside at another funeral.

I deeply apologize for the gawkiness and
negligence that some of us display in our attitudes
towards human life. Hayden was an irreplaceably
unique woman holding a special place within all who met her.
I remember meeting her at the St Pogus weekend and she was and
always will be in my mind a charming and energetic person.
My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and all who crossed her path.
We all have the gift of memory lets not squander it and forget how Hayden made a difference!

This is very tragic. I did not have the honor of interacting with Ms. Brooks. I wish to send my condolences to her family, her friends, and lovers.

After taking a little time away from this board, I was certainly surprised to read this news. :shock:

I had communicated with Hayden via email a few times just recently. She seemed like a nice girl. My condolences to her family and friends.

You took the words right out of my mouth dreamr--these are what I call "Internet tough guys." You see them all the time on message boards and sometimes in chat rooms, pointing fingers, calling names, threatning and intimidating because they won't do it in real life. And to get their kicks, jollies, call it what you will.

As Brent mentioned in his earlier post, my deepest sympathies and condolences to everyone at the Bunny Ranch, Love Ranch and to Hayden's friends and family. And thanks to Dennis, Chili and everyone who's posted updates on the case.
